By the way, “Hotty Toddy” is, without doubt, the most gay and cringe worthy “cheer” in college sports. Your students and alumni should petition to erase it from your inglorious sports history, like the Confederate statues. In the alternative, make a deal with A&M. Back to the original topic, something unique that I just thought of, would be to have a painting as the trophy, with the catch that each year the winner gets to have it repainted. Make a caveat that a magnolia flower has to be painted in somewhere, hence keeping the "magnolia bowl" name.
It would definitely be one of a kind, and much better than the dipshit trophy that currently exists.
