The typical TexAgs poster is the kind of person that laughs at their own jokes while everybody else in the room just stares at them.

Yeah. There is a long history on the Rivalries board that is hard to understand (or tolerate) if you haven't been involved for at least 5 years. The football board appears to be comprised of nothing but children and every other board is simply boring. The Rant is much better (except for Rivalries, which is nearly as good as the rant, unless you are new and don't get the banter)

I really hope this doesn't happen...would make for bad holiday with the wife (Aggie '97 grad) every year when the Tigers kick that arse

It's really easy to do so too. He's clearly an A&M homer so I know to take his updates with a grain of salt, but the thing that pisses me off is the "rivalry" between TexAgs and 24-7/Rivals, and how he includes that dumb shite in his updates. When I go to HEB the manager doesn't get in my face about how much he hates Kroger. I don't give a shite. Give me recruiting and spring practice updates.

Seems like that guy has an inferiority complex towards Baylor

and this

the Baylor stuff is just sad. The dude tweets about them like he is some spurned 13 year old girl.

IMO he kind of comes off like an insecure prick half the time.

Sometimes I read his tweets and and trash the STAFF Nazis on the TexAgs board post and I want to move back to B/CS to start my own site just to piss him off.

Also, I want to like Gabe Bock on TexAgs radio but the heavy amount of slurping and hyperbole he slips into when pumping Aggie sunshine makes me feel like I'm listening to Fox News or MSNBC partisan spin.

If the game is that weekend I'm cool with it, don't understand why peeps get all geeked up about a game on Thanksgiving day.

This.

I go there for some info.

But for my $0, I prefer shaggybevo.com (just remember whose site it is) and SEC Rant. The SB football forum is usually pretty decent, and I spend a lot of time on Bada Bing, Nasty's and No Sex.

...what's wrong with that? Ever had an anger bang? The tigers can pound that arse...followed by YOU pounding that arse.

Alternatively, if A&M wins, she gets excited and you get to pound that arse anyway.

No-lose situation.

I would rather the NFL just have that day. I would like to watch football on T-Day, but with a sense of detatchment.

And if we play LSU on T-Day, my wife and her family will never understand why I never make it for Thanksgiving because I am not missing that game regardless if it is in CS or BR.

I think LSU/A&M should be both team's first SEC game each season. Occasionally it could even open the year for both teams.

I'm coming around to this idea

Originally I wanted A&M instead of Arky around Thanksgiving because there are more LSU fans in Texas for the holiday... but it is a really awkward week for recruits to visit and overall I'd rather LSU and A&M used their game as a big recruiting event

If we use Flagship logic, LSU-A&M playing on Thanksgiving day means that LSU is scared to play Arkansas late in the season.

The TexAgs police have already ratted you out hahahaha!

Most non-loudmouth message board LSU fans seem to like the idea.

I don't know one Aggie that doesn't love the idea. Lets make it happen.

Arky-Mizzou makes sense as well. We both need to lock into longterm deals on TG with BETTER opponents than were both used to and tell Texas and KU to go eternally f themselves on Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah I'd want it to be on Saturday. Playing a game on Thanksgiving is cool in many ways, but I want to be able to enjoy the holiday now. Saturday or Friday after Thanksgiving would be my preference, I'd be fine with it really early in the season too though. It would be a huge recruiting event if that was the case.

I think TG means TG weekend. There will be an NFL game head to head with UT-TCU/TT/Texas State every TG for the foreseeable future; this year its NE NYJ.

I'd prefer the Friday night slot every T+1.

**IF** A&M finally has the right coach in place, this can and will turn into a huge regional rivalry; we've already played 49 times, 80s and early 90s Ags will tell you the LSU game was even more cutthroat than the UT game. My first ever A&M game was against LSU in 91 as a 6 year old.

Yup, family members and dads of friends have said that was by far the craziest and most intense game of the year when it was going on
