They have more penalty yards.

I like my excuse of Chris Todd getting injured or something.

But these last two weeks are just deplorable. Absolutely unacceptable.

I can't tell if LSU has righted the ship on offense or if Auburn is just that bad.

I don't think it took SEC defensive coordiantors long to figure out that high school offense.

Lot of blame has to go on the coaches.

We have gotten some aweful calls from the refs, but we have fricked ourselves on unnecessary penalties just as much tonight.

It's still possible to come back. LSU's offense is less than explosive.

Before that comeback; there was one good Auburn team that could play with anyone. After it, we have ourselves a clusteruck that is about to go 0-3 and get blown out in two of those games. I wish to know what exactly happened to cause us to implode like this.

A bad defense that continues to be bad against SEC competition coupled with a decent offense that is being slowed down by SEC competition. Just my attempt at an unbiased take on it.

We won't fully know that until 2 more weeks, but we have not done this at all against the other 6 teams we've played.

I believe Auburn's offense has failed to score a single point in six of its last seven quarters.

LSU's first two drives looked like a righted ship. AU's defense is not what it used to be, but we still looked a lot better than the rest of the year.

Then the playcalling went to complete shite. Last drive opened it a bit but ended in a FG.

If we open that offense, I think we can compete with absolutely anyone. Problem is we're going to do like LSU's basketball team last year: kick arse for a quarter, then disappear for the next.

LSU . . .. beating us to a PULP!!!

Without that fumble it would be 24-0 and time to turn the TV to UF vs. MSU or MSU vs. Iowa.

My goodness

1. Bad defense

2. Piss Poor offense

3. Sloppy special teams

4. Penalties

When did we become the Detroit Lions????

I can't find a good football team this year to save my life.

I may have to get on the Texas bandwagon . . .

I'm back from eating chinese food and I'm pleasantly surprised that the score is 17-0 instead of the 28-0 I thought it would be.

MORAL VICTORY!

Nice post.

To those complaining about refs, what calls did you see as being so blatantly bad? The "false start" on the opening drive was horrible. I was shouting at Downs and couldn't believe they called it false start instead of offsides. Other than that, I didn't see any blatantly bad calls.

that was the only bad call overall the problem is simply we are not executing on offense and Todd is not throwing the ball well. There comes a point when you've got to try the backup and it is getting there.

I'm about ready to see Tyrik Rollison's RS pulled.

edit: Well, maybe not. This season is already down the toilet.

Auburn switching to the "screw it let's put them in FG position to start so we get the ball quicker" defense?
