To be fair he looked solid. Made great reads even without disastrous ole miss coverage.

If he hits a couple of passes in the first half he goes for 400. Impressive for. Basically a new QB.

Certainly wouldn't be the first time an older non starter shot out the gate.

We had our own in Kyle Trask, who also hadn't started since high school (in his case, Junior year)
