I think if SC somehow had a magical year and won something, most the SEC would be happy for us.

i also think our fans deserve just one year of that. like our own 1980 that we could cling onto for the next 40 years

He wouldn’t come as OC, I just think he is a great fit as a head coach. Learned how to establish a culture, etc. he’s at the top of my list. Napier isn’t as high, I just wonder if his scheme is a special enough prep to bring sc over the top

No doubt. I like you guys. I don't think another SEC East fanbase would lament a SCAR magical season, except maybe Tennessee.

As much as not having a national championship in my lifetime sucks, I am not having to deal with my in state rival (whose fanbase has a weird mixture of little bro syndrome and the Heaven's Gate cult) in their prime. At least we can still laugh at GTU when we choke.

And just so the last sentence doesn't come off as condescending, this hit is one of my favorite of all time.
