Yeah, you really don't want to go down that road.

And you currently embrace Rick Pitino post-scandal. Congrats on that moral high ground.

No one ever said Rick Pitino was perfect, he made a horrible mistake. The fact is he was still at UK and was still winning you wouldn't have cared. At first I wanted Pitino fired, but after hearing more about Karen Sypher and seeing him handle it made me want to give him another chance. Pitino is not perfect, far from it, but at least he admitted to his mistakes. Pition made a mistake with one woman, Rupp made a mistake with an entire race. Did Adolph Rupp every apologize for his racist past?

I can't wait until Jurich leaves you for a big name school.

Go down it USMC, we will play you anywhere, anyplace, anytime. The fact is you all don't want to because you are afraid you would lose again (which you probably would). It's much easier to schedule a cupcake easy win.

Again, UofL has contacted every single BCS conference team, including UF, about home and home series. How are we supposed to play tough teams when they won't schedule us?

You're going to be waiting for a very very long time. Jurich has been here for 14 years, he loves Louisville and will most likely retire from UofL, and if he does leave, it will be to become a Conference Commissioner. I don't see that happening anytime soon though.

Lets see the original post on an $EC board was ABOUT UofL and you're saying WE have little dick syndrome?? Classic. Yeah, why the hell would WE come over here when on of your OWN member's started a thread about us?? Reading comprehension is not your friend.

Do you really want to go there? UF hasn't played a non conference game outside the state of Florida since 1991!! I will now list some of the teams that your mighty Gators have faced in non-conference play in the last few years:

When you routinely have a top 10 strength of schedule overall you don't have to have a tough OOC schedule. It's about the whole body of work. I know that's a hard concept for you UofL fans to grasp with your "see the modern era" line of thinking.

Appalachian State

Troy

Pretty sure both of these teams have had quite a bit of success on their level. What's Eastern Kentucky done lately? Are you really going to talk shite about Appy State when they beat Michigan at the Big House? I know you UofL fans don't think football started until 2013, but seriously?

quote:

Meanwhile, you should talk to your best friends, the Georgia Bulldogs, about how scared UofL is to play good teams. UofL had a home and home with Georgia in 2011 and 2012 that Georgia cancelled!

Georgia played Boise State, a team that's waxed Louisville's arse before, in OOC in 2011 when no one else would pick them up. Scared? Not hardly. You're just not as attractive as a scheduling prospect as Boise State. Sorry.

It was a Georgia fan asking if you should've been added over Mizzou.

Not even remotely close to getting your panties in such a bundle that you registered to knight for your team.

Just like you said we would never be good again after Brian Brohm and Michael Bush. Yep, kids are suddenly not going to want to play for Charlie Strong. Charlie Strong and the entire coaching staff are going to suddenly forget how to coach.

I would play UF or any SEC any year, even if we lost our entire starting 22. We might win, we might lose, but we will play and never be intimidated.

You don't think he'd leave for UCLA, USC, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, et al?

You're delusional.

And how many of those are non-conference games? I'm not saying UF doesn't have a harder SOS, but that's because you play an SEC schedule. The fact is though your OOC SOS is worthless, you all never play anybody except FSU and occasionally Miami. Even your own fan base has gotten sick of the Division 1AA games.

I never said UofL's SOS was better than UF's. I said that UofL wants to play competitive non conference matchups but that teams either won't play us or cancel.

Did you not see the article I posted on about Georgia cancelling a series against us? We weren't able to replace Georgia with an equal opponent.

What are we supposed to do when teams won't play us? As far as I'm concerned that takes away any ability to trash us about our schedule.

As for downplaying the Alabama team we demolished in the 91 Fiesta Bowl, well we were 9 point underdogs in that game too. 14 point underdogs to Florida last season. Curb stomped both teams. That 7-4 Alabama team lost 3 games by 4 points or less. They finished 5-2 in the $EC. Can we have LSU next? Maybe Georgia? Id love to kick their arse up and down the field too!

The Florida State game automatically makes our OOC SOS better than yours.

No, and he should know better than to bring up scheduling. It's the dumbest argument a big east fan should make to a SEC fan. UK is the best team UL plays annually.

You don't think schools have already tried? If they thought Jurich was available, they would've tried already. So sorry, he wouldn't leave for those schools, he likes it just fine here.

Of course it's a good problem to have, I doubt anyone wants UK's AD.

Maybe that wonderful AD of yours needs to do better.

And what's the excuse for not having teams better than Eastern Kentucky in your OOC this year. You really think anyone truly believes someone like Western Kentucky didn't want to play you? Or that Jurich couldn't make an offer to a better team that they couldn't refuse like Boise State did Georgia?

Your schedule is so weak this season that there's a good chance even if you go undefeated you'll get leapfrogged by a one-loss or even two-loss team from somewhere else. What kind of AD allows that to happen?
