A&M is getting hosed and the fact Mizzou is still an 8 is unreal too.

Anywhere from 4-7 could be justified depending on how we do in SECT given our tale of two seasons. Bracket Matrix puts us at 6 which is relatively fair.

7 seed should reflect teams ranked in the 25-28 range

Your rebuttal makes zero sense. You contradict yourself while displaying ignorance. You actually proved my argument. According to the NCAA and many of the comments here, early season games should count equally as late season games. That’s BS. A win over a number 1 team in the first month would be counted as a quad 1 victory even if the team was later unranked. Saying it should be later counted as the same as a win over a #44 team is stupidity. Nothing at stake? Wow…well let’s see…A&M moved from a 6/8 seed what should be a #5 seed and #18 AP ranking. Up 7 spots in one week. Alabama likely lost its #1 seed. Had A&M knocked off Miss State or Auburn not choked that game would have been for the SEC championship and Alabama might have seen a huge drop in its seeding. Yeah I’d say there was a lot more at stake in the last 5 games for everyone.

Uh no, no it doesn't. Quad records are based on your opponents current rank.
Alabama currently has a win over #44 North Carolina, not #1 North Carolina (which is what they were ranked when we beat them in November).

It's literally how it works.

Alabama is a #1 seed in their preferred region (South) in 99% of brackets. They lost nothing.

I didn't say nothing at stake. I said it was a home game against a good team, nothing more. Which it was.

Showing this amount of confidence while being so completely wrong is borderline impressive.

Don’t lose multiple games to teams ranked 200+ if you want to be anything better than a 6 seed. It’s not hard to understand.

There were in fact not deserving of a 7 seed after all.

Barely played like a 20. Teams that usually whine and cry underperform in the tourney look at Kentucky …..

Boomers had a losing record this year, didn’t even make the NIT, right?

What does that have to do with Aggies being 7 seed? That’s why they are experts
