Looking forward to this weekends matchups but especially the Night games. Vandy/Zona starting Saturday night. Arizona was offensive power house against ole miss in the super and has been all year, with big bats and many HR’s despite them having one of the largest fields in college. Looking forward to see how they do against Vandy pitching. That’s the only thing can stop them(ole miss starters and bullpen pretty much could not) because they will get runs… in bunches.

Also wanna see what the Dawgs can do with Texas. All good matchups with some teams just getting hot at the right time. No clear or obvious winners. Should be a good weekend.

Vanderbilt vs. Arizona

Vandy is the defending champs, and with Rocker and Leiter on the mound, they seem like they are the team to beat. Arizona can flat out hit the ball, so Rocker vs. the Wildcat lineup should be a great matchup. But Zona doesn't have the arms to match Vanderbilt, so the Dores cruise to an 8-4 type win that feels like a bigger win.

I think vandy’s pitching can stop their bats. Especially in a one game matchup. Doug shut them down for the most part in his start and his “stuff” isn’t as good as either vandy ace. Will be the matchup I am the most excited to watch in round one for sure.
