You cannot honestly refute that you didn’t attend UGA so I will no longer participate in your lie that you did.

did, but it was before I joined the scout network,
CFN was not part of scout. It was an independent that had all the P and most of G conference forums and general discussion forums.
So I don’t know when you were on Scout. I was briefly when they acquired a Vol forum I posted on but that was after CFN went away.

Athens isn’t in North Ga, it’s obviously not in Coastal Ga, it’s not in southern Ga and it’s not in West Ga. That leaves middle Georgia.
Where do you feel Athens is geographically?
East Georgia.

So Augusta is on the coast? Learned something new today.

Middle Georgia is Macon. Anything north of Atlanta and outside the Atlanta metro area is considered north georgia.
That (barely) includes Athens. It's considered part of the northeast portion of the state.

Augusta is middle Georgia. Have y’all ever been to Georgia?
North Georgia has the mountains
West Georgia might as well be Alabama
South Georgia is south of Macon
East Georgia is the Coastal Region of Georgia
Atlanta doesn’t want to be in Georgia
Above Macon and below north Georgia is middle Georgia.
Y’all are just arguing to argue at this point.

Maybe to folks that have never lived in Georgia.

Call me crazy, but if you can walk a few minutes and be in the state bordering your east...you aren't in the middle of the state.

Some divide GA up into more regions. This particular way of looking at it has Athens in the East-Central region. But it's somewhat arbitrary as Athens is around the same amount "north" as Haralson, Polk and Paulding counties which are considered "north", but on the western side of the state. I prefer the way I linked as a better way to look at it.

Middle Georgia IS Macon and it's surroundings. Not north of it.
Athens is closer to the border of SC than it is to Macon.

You’re crazy. I crossed the Savannah River many times into North Augusta. But east Georgia is Coastal Georgia. Augusta is culturally and Ethnically middle Georgia. The Highschools play mainly middle Georgia schools, the people are middle Georgia people and is asked they say they are middle Georgia. Being above the fall line and not on the coast has much to do with it.

Are all the UGA fans here obsessed with Tennessee?

OK, Athens is not in North Georgia, it’s not in the mountains or foothills.
It’s not on the coast, it’s not in South Georgia, it’s not in the “might as well be Alabama” west Georgia. Ergo it’s middle Georgia.
At some point it will truly be in the metro Atlanta region. But Atlanta hasn’t really expanded close enough yet.

One player with the team took the blame. Point stands, it’s why Fields was granted immediate eligibility.
There was only two baseball players in the area, and Sasser was a second team all SEC player, so it wasn't like "He took one for the team."
And yes. That was the excuse given by his representation.

It’s unreasonable to allow the words of the ignorant to control you so much that a single word from someone you don’t respect can unhinge you. I honestly miss when people were taught “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” millennials and zoomers are just a softer breed.

It’s not so much Tennessee as a couple of posters. DJ had me fooled for 20 years into believing he attended UGA but I doubt he’s ever even been to Georgia at this point. The rest just feel they need to defend him.
Don’t take it personally or honesty fool with them and most of them are decent just miss guided

There is a country radio station in Athens with the call sign WNGC. It stands for North Georgia Country. I have been in GA all of my life and have never heard Athens designated as middle Georgia because it is not.
It is truly amazing that you do not know this since you claim to be a Georgia College alumnus which, by the way, IS middle Georgia.
This has to be a troll because you cant be this stupid.

They are right about Athens not being in Middle Georgia.

Lil smokey, your obsession with UGA is so strong that you are now arguing about geography?? All while being absolutely proven wrong over and over. This obsession just keeps getting more and more sad.

Imagine looking at that map, finding Augusta, and saying "yep, that's in the middle alright"
