There is NOTHING about them making the right call involved in the entire debacle. They made the wrong call and then failed to make a call against Texas for BLATANT unsportsmanlike conduct by the fans. To sum up they made a shitty call against Texas for a good defensive play. They then failed to penalize Texas for fans throwing shite on the field. Nothing about the situation indicates ANY desire to “get the call right”….

It was a judgement call. For the refs to call it one way then take the opportunity of the home fans pelting the field to change their judgement is a new low for SEC officiating - consistently the worst in the country. Just glad it did t affect the outcome of the game.

Once the official penalty has been called it can not be reversed. PI is also a non reviewable play and can not be challenged. That is the issue. They can discuss it before hand but once the penalty has been officially called that is the end of it.

I do applaud Sark for walking halfway across the field to get the students to quit throwing the trash. Good move by him, don’t usually see coaches that would go address something like that.

Selling beer at games and allowing alcohol is why we saw this behavior. Should ban any alcohol being sold or brought into games.
It's not like this is the first time fans have thrown shite of the field. I don't like it and think it's a bad look.
At the same time, the reversal of the confirmation that it was a bad call in the first place is 100% on the officiating crew. Plenty of bad calls, just like every other game. Make a decision and get on with it.
The game took forever is seems, almost 4 hours.
