I will leave that to all you faggies but if you think we are going to lie down and not pound you worse than the 28-11 all time record indicates. Then you are out of your twisted homosexual mind.

There is not a coach, Nfl or college that I would take over Saban. That said, I think Gruden would be a slam dunk hire and he definately deserves the chance to prove it. If he fails then he would be thrown on his arse just as any coach would.

I think he could and would do well. Strong and Hologerson are both out so if Gruden falls through then I would be all for Butch Davis. We need someone that will be with us for at least 5 years.

That sounds like a statement just to try and shite on their dream coach without any justification.

Several coaches have done ok in college and pro.

With the right staff Gruden could be OK.

This is the same guy who said the ink was dry on Gruden in April. Its amazing how eager people are to believe this that they will actually fall for the same thing from the same guy twice.

Fwiw, the person saying it this time would know.

I know who was saying it last time, I never believed it.

the mods have bought into it as well, a little smoke but Gruden has done this before to several schools we are probably his next. Coaches like to seem desirable.

This. Gruden has never coached a team where the talent on his team is vastly inferior to nearly every team his fans expect him to compete with. He has also never had to spend day and night on the road recruiting while also being 100% prepared for a weekly game. The college game is very very different than the NFL and I think Gruden would be a huge failure at any school that is not a top 10 perennial power.

Spot on correct and I like Gruden. Hog fans who think he would automatically do good are senile from this season.

No matter what some people think, it's not easier going from the pros to coaching in college.

If (and that's a huge if) Gruden was willing to coach in college, there's no way he would take Arkansas over Tennessee.

since when did Tennessee have an opening? Pretty sure the only school right now in the west with a opening is Arkansas. Gruden is not going to happen, I think a lot of people got really excited. A few mods bought into it and then it took off again. It is all BS until a coach is announced.

Strong is out, he was on a Louisville radio station professing his love for his AD and his recruits. Talking about his Moral obligation to the recruits he has coming into stay with the program. I do not think I have been ever so happy to hear him say that. I am not a supporter and we would be no more than middle tier with Charlie Strong at the helm. I think he will go to other schools someday just not Arkansas and he let that me known today on Bo's show.

Sorry. I know the power, and importance of this thread, of what the possibility of hire of a magnitude of Jon Gruden would do for Razorback football. Hope is the only thing that fans have at this moment, and have had since April 1, and I know this thread represents something of greatness that all fans are seeking. I am not trying to diminish that hope or optimism for a future that looks bleak at the moment, but just trying to lessen the disappointment when this does not happen.

I don't think he is buying it

And Hudspeth is off limits to y'all too.

I am pretty sure this problem will exsist no matter what. How would he ever leave if you think that is what is holding him back? I am not saying he is coming either but that would be because we have hired someone else.

Youre fricking retarded.

And homosexual. I mean you seem limited to gruden, but still youre gay.

As for gruden, let say for the sakenof argument that he did return to coaching. He would have to hire a great staff but i believe hed be a geeat recruiter.

Nit as good as saban though. Come on. If saban switched to arkansas tomorrow wed sign the number one class in the nation in feb. That is indisputable fact. Hed also win a nc within 4 yrs. Hes that great of a coach, and hes proven it.
