I remember some great crowds against Arkansas when Sweet Tom was there.

So LSU is NET rating 23. And is in sole possession of first place of the SEC. And would have been a quadrant one win. Instead Texas loses at home. Bad look for the NCAA tournament committee

So for LSU it becomes a meaningful quadrAnt one road win.

Demographics of Texas ain’t what they used to be. I don’t the no the current batch of students care about shooty hoops or footy ball.

Not a smart eval. Student body is 50,000 strong, regardless of how the University tries to be a PAC 10 school, there are plenty of sports minded students. Wouldn’t matter, the living alumni dwarf the student population both in quantity & resource$.

Texas will be top 10 if not closer to top 5 impact fan bases (without sidewalk fan) for our lifetimes.

You can’t find data that says otherwise.
