8-9 years is good for a bulldog. they usually develop respiratory problems after 5 years from what i hear.

Yeah, they won't let us pet Mike either.
War Eagle flying for pre-game is pretty awesome. LSU did that for the first game back after 9/11. Lee Greenwood sang "Proud to be an American", the eagle flew in. If you didn't get goose bumps it's because you aren't American.

i pet the last mike. back in 1990 (i think) when they introduced the new mike (he was a little runt back then), they let a bunch of us pet him for the last time. we stood in line and i was even on tv. they said it was the last time he would get human contact. it was pretty big deal for me.

We played Prattville in the HS playoffs this past season and they had a live Lion in a cage. We had a soph in a lion suit. They killed us.

I pass by a herd of Buffalo every day on my way to town. They're a lot cooler looking than the cows grazing along with them. They're shorter and stockier in real life than I imagined them from TV and movies.

big deal...auburn fans pass them every day to class. and yes, those coeds are just as short and stocky
