No. I think that stat plus the stats vs good teams pretty much smokes Fournette on both fronts. Have a nice day.

Chubb earned that total though, he busted the long one and fournette didn't.

So, Chubb is the better back because of a busted Alabama defensive play?

Got it.

You can keep moving the goal post if you would like. But there is a reason DH slipped to the 45th pick in the NFL draft after breaking the all-time rushing record. He lost many millions of dollars when he had to watch Ezekiel Elliot get picked in the top 5 and receive a $16mil singing bonus and DH got $2mil. That's a $14mil dollar difference becuase the NFL is tired of seeing bama RB's flame out in the NFL. Saban is just sucking the life out of these guys. It's sad.

I've heard this, as well. A rumor isn't a rumor if it doesn't die, right?

It's not just with NFL brass either. Watching other SEC schools put superstars in the NFL is being heard in the recruiting trail, as well. Players getting processed by Saban, like you said, the recruits aren't going to be impressed with just being a part of a system that works in college; but not in the NFL. I think the perfect example of this is T Richardson.

He just couldn't adapt to life without being in Saban's system. It is tragic.

No, but I don't have an argument against a uga fan against Chubb like I do a bama fan against Henry

so vs common opponents fournette Had more TDs and higher YPC...

Overall fournette had more yards per game, more yards per carry, more TDs per game...

Henry in 15 games = more yards than fournette in 12 (no shite). Henry is better? gotcha...

Just so you know, it's ok to win a national championship without having the best player at every single position on the field. You can still be the best team with Tennessee and ole miss having a better QB, and LSU and UGA having a better RB. It'll be ok man I promise...
Every body knows you were the best team last year. Just like every body knows you didn't have the best RB

are y'all to the point w 4 NCs in 7 years that even that is boring? Anyone that has that A on their helmet has to be the absolute best at his position too? It's not physically possible that your top notch Oline helps your RBs, or your top flight pass rush helps your secondary?

Some might. But it would be fournette not Henry they were talking about

That's my whole point. Bama fans think Henry is best because he went to Alabama. LSU fans think Fournette is best because he went to LSU. Had they gone to the opposite schools both schools would be saying just the opposite.

Yes. Georgia would be doing the same about Chubb. They are all great college running backs. That is what we are arguing about. We all love our players and think they are the best.

Fournette is just better IMO, and pretty much every body else's besides bama fans

And I happen to agree. But typically it is LSU fans that are so insecure they start a ton of threads needing for everybody to come out and agree with them.

Check out what NFL GMs think next draft.

And this means nothing. Those same NFL GMS thought Ryan Leaf was the best QB. Shall we go down the list of players that NFL GMs have been wrong about?

So much is put into the head to head. Bama absolutely took control of the line of scrimmage on both sides. Do I really need to create a YouTube channel and edit and link the first 3 carries of the game for both of them?

No, you don't. But if you are voting on the Heisman are you watching LSU vs. E. Michigan, Syracuse and W. Kentucky.....or are you watching LSU vs Alabama, Ole Miss, and Florida?

Look. Chubb is hurt. Right now everybody would have to consider Fournette the better back. had Chubb stayed healthy last season and put up another huge year we might be doing the same argument you are having with Alabama fans. But he didn't. He got hurt. Hopefully both players will be healthy this year and we will have plenty of great football to watch!

Alabama currently having the #1 recruiting class on Rivals...again...for 2017 is just one piece of evidence that you're full of shite.

You should really check out that whole play.

You forgot about the other 5 guys fournette had to get away from in the backfield before that tackle

Because of many busted defensive plays over 2 seasons, not just one.

Takes a man to concede that. You should have seen Lsu fans in Chubb threads in the last year though. They hated the common opponent comparison because it was a landslide in chubbs favor.

99% of the Heisman voters watched L5U vrs Bama.
99% of the Heisman voters said after the game that Henry was the best running back on the field.
He played the best that night. If you think any different you are lying to yourself...
Henry got an invite to New York your man didn't. There was a reason for that.

Doesn't negate the fact that Fournette was in the open field on the edge and couldn't beat a CB in a strictly one-on-one situation. He got stuffed by a DB who was giving up 35 pounds to him.
