I agree with this statement. No doubt in my mind that Fournette is a better RB than Henry. OP just presented a terrible argument.

have a better way to compare to RBs then by comparing their numbers against common opponents?

Now do this with Chubb vs LF, and then tell us how it's the best comparison possible.

Henry:
25% more games
32% more carries

13% more yards
22% more TDs

Henry stayed in against quality opposition, while LF got way more of his reps against weak defenses.

Y'all are so stupid. If bama had Fournette they would be jocking his arse! They would be saying how great he is. Since he didn't chose Bama he sucks. Lol

So... exactly what LSU fans do in regards to Henry?

Got it.

Yeah henry did have to carry 10+ more times to reach fournette's production against a good Defense in UF

Had to get 8 more carries to reach fournette's production against Arkansas too.

Ole miss was about even

Henry did have more yards against that stout A&M rush Defense though

Who is wearing the ring? Who's got the trophy?
Who was the #1 Rb on the #1 team.
Stats are for losers.
Better luck this year corn dogs.

You have a better way to compare I'm all ears.

I will say Fournette vs Chubb is a lot tougher argument, and I can't say Fournette was better. You definitely have an argument pre-injury. Any one not wearing an A on their shirt knew the best back was between Fournette and Chubb pre injury

But here it is:
Fournette-------Chubb

South Carolina
20-158-2-------21-159-2

Alabama
19-31-1---------20-146-1

^ Chubb busted an 83 yard TD run late to reach that total. 19-63-0 for the rest of his carries, which is still ahead of Fournettes 19-31-1.
Chubb earned that total though, he busted the long one and fournette didn't.

Hope he comes back strong from his injury.

Why the obsession over the Heisman. Is anyone disputing that LF is a great back?

Well, LF did bust a long run late, similar to what Chubb did, only it was for 18yds and he didn't score. So if you're taking out Chubbs long run, take out LF and he was 18 for 13 for a 0.72 yd per carry.

Another thing, the Heisman isn't given to the best RB, it's given to the most outstanding player. Henry, when it mattered, late in the season, was outstanding and dominated. He took over games and by the 4the no one wanted to tackle him, he was getting stronger as the game went on, beast mode. Henry earned and deserved the Heisman.

I have never once in this thread said Henry didn't deserve the heismsn. In fact I even stated why he deserved it.
Only stated Fournette is the better back IMO. I think Chubb was better too.
And I also have no argument for fournette over Chubb. The sample size to compare was limited due to injury though

I also argued the fact that Alabama was the much better team and front 7

front 7

It was lightweight corners taking his arse on one on one in the backfield and making him quit. Let that sink in.

thanks for proving my point.
Fournette couldn't find a hole to save his life. Danced around in the backfield so long corners were making the tackle in the backfield

Meanwhile Henry was taking on corner 12 yards down the field with a full head of steam.

Why would our corners be making tackles in the backfield when Henry had plenty of daylight between the guard and tackle

Booger played against the 128th (last), 127th, 109th, 107th, 81st, 78th, 70th, ranked rushing defenses plus W Kentucky.

Just because lf7 scored more
He didn't. He didn't score more and he didn't rush for more. He didn't perform as well in the conference. And he didn't get invited to NYC.

What about Texas A&M? Henry had more yards in the first quarter than Fournette had all game.

He wasn't deserving of an invite. And after what he said about Heisman winners not being good NFL RBs he probably won't be invited this year. Heisman voters don't like players who shite all over the Heisman.

Go watch an untouched Fournette with nothing but forward momentum meet little Hump in the hole. Watch Hump drive him backwards and tackle him for a loss. It's beautiful to watch.

Cool. So we're not talking about fournette against good defenses anymore? We've switched to shite defenses where Henry racked up stats now. I thought that was the knock on fournette

Make up your minds

And fournette had more TDs in the third quarter against auburn on 3 carries than Henry had all game
