Post isn't about the LSU/Bama game. It is to show that they are both elite all-time level backs.

Half the season's games were common opponents. You can see their stats are very similar. LF had a slight edge in ypg and TD's, Henry had more carries/yards.

Henry has already rushed for more yds than any back in SEC history with 1 possibly 2 more games to go. LF has a great shot to be number 2 SEC all-time with 1 to go.

Technically, since Bama beat themselves in the Ole Miss game, you can add Bama as a common opponent.

didn't lf get the majority of his yards on us on one or two carries well after halftime when we were already kicking arse and 3/4 of your fans had left?

I still don't get the head to head thing. They weren't rushing against the same defenses. Bama's front 7 was way way better all year than LSU's.

Congrats on the 40 more rushing attempts.
Those 40 extra carries helped put the 25th SEC Championship trophy in the cabinet.

Henry is happy running the ball and Coach Saban is happy watching him run it.

and .2 better ypc

Look at the overall stats again. LF going Ham in the AU game essentially makes up all of this .2 ypc difference.

Somebody is just repeating what they heard Saban say on tv yesterday.

And LOL at Bama fans getting so defensive. Nobody is attacking Bamas success, nobody is saying that Henry sucks. The thread tries to compare two great running backs and Bama fans immediately jump to "rabble rabble, SEC champions, rabble rabble." It's like someone insulted your mother.

Of course it is. It's funny that even this last data point still pretty much leans toward Henry.

Henry also put up 147 yards and 3 TDs against Wisconsin - who has one of the best rush defenses in America.

What were LF's numbers against the best rush defenses he faced?

The Arkansas defense didn't do very many things right this season, but run D was pretty consistently outstanding.

If LSU had anything that even looked remotely like a passing game, Arkansas would've been in heap big trouble.

What the Bama fans are saying is that our OL and Offense are equal to theirs, hence the numbers are so close, and Henry is better.

Thanks Gumps, it means a lot.

With that in mind, good luck with that in the playoffs.

I can't wait to laugh at another season of media driven grandeur when you figs get bounced from the "playoffs".
