Lewis will possibly have to speak against MSU to keep immunity

MSU isn't out of the woods yet:
Ole Miss and UNC had their cases reopened after new evidence came to light: the Tunsil draft day pic and a private investigator shed new details on UNC's scandal.

And it’s not over yet. Lewis has been requested by the COI to appear at Ole Miss’ Committee on Infractions (COI) hearing on September 11. If Lewis ends up attending, his comments will shape not just the future of two SEC programs, but possibly Lewis’ entire football career. If Lewis doesn’t attend, he could lose immunity and his college career. If he does, he could further implicate his current program. And even if Lewis speaks to the COI, he could still lose his conditional immunity — and his eligibility — if the committee decides he hasn’t been truthful or cooperative.

I missed where MSU had been served a Notice of Inquiry. When did that happen?

State may have gotten a little too close to that cliff they were trying to push OM over.

MSU is so screwed.
All that ridiculing of Ole Miss and now they are getting tagged by the same kid.
Let's all hope this is true and see the end of cowbells

Leo Lewis is a red herring and a last ditch attempt by Ole Miss to bring us down with them.
It is truly surprising how many people there are who are apparently dumb enough to fall for it.
The article you quote is based solely on transcripts the NCAA HAS HAD FOR A YEAR. This is not new. The case was opened and closed. No new information.

But in absolutely no way could there be a possibility that MSU received one and isn't releasing that information?
*Disclaimer: This isn't me proclaiming that MSU is under an official investigation by the NCAA....just that you can't blindly make the claim that you just made. You have absolutely no idea what's going on. Remember, MSU talking heads kept proclaiming that LL wouldn't have to appear at the COI meeting. You were lied to.

TBH- I'd prefer to sacrifice Ole Miss to the NCAA wolves instead of them and MSU too. I like the dawgs.

C'mon now. If you're gonna argue that I consider C34 an MSU talking head then we just need to quit typing and head to Sonic.

On August 16, attorneys representing Ole Miss wrote a letter addressed to COI chairman Greg Christopher, AD for Xavier University, which requested access to a separate NCAA investigation into Mississippi State. The letter, which was obtained by SB Nation, alleges that NCAA enforcement confirmed to Ole Miss that they had “quickly opened and subsequently closed” the investigation because Lewis’s statements about receiving money from Mississippi State were deemed to be “ultimately... not sufficiently credible to support an allegation.”

Ole Miss fan made that comment in another thread. So are you laughing at your own fan's ignorance?

Leo Lewis could simply have denied the interview. He's contemplating not showing up to the COI so it's clearly an option.

1.) Ole Miss didn't have their case reopened. Their case was never closed. That was in the article that Godfrey just published (and it has been reported multiple times by the people that haven't been lying throughout this process).
2.) The NCAA is not going to punish the school that just helped them nail someone after giving their player immunity. They would never be able to use immunity again. It's why they opened and closed the investigation on MSU regarding Leo Lewis in about 2 weeks.

Leo Lewis voids his immunity if he doesn't show.
Correct, he does have a choice to not show. That choice would likely end his career.
