Texas may be best team but competition hasn’t been that tough.
I would have met you at Sonic over this comment Sunday but my feet have finally got back on the ground.

Too early to tell. Haven’t faced a competent offense yet. Still starting the same safeties as last year?
No. Thompson is playing at Auburn this year.
Texas is rotating a bunch of guys, tbd who the Top 2 are.. Sr Mukuba from Clemson, Soph. D Williams and Walk-on Taffe are the Top 3. We are also playing a 3 high safety look at times.. something our new LB Coach Nansen brought with him from Arizona.

The best thing about moving conferences is texas fans being texas fans and giving an entire new group of people reasons to hate them.

Who cares about stealing signs or signals? Every kid was taught to try to steal signs when we were younger in games. Don’t like that they are stealing signs, then change them! Of course, I’m an Astros fan so what do I know?!
I too am a big Astros fan, and I agree with this thought process.. but at the same time, there is a difference between standing on 2nd base and figuring out the signs.. and using technology or scouting games to steal them for you..
But at the end of the day, it is on Sark to prevent it from happening.. Being able to talk to the QB/LB helps a little, but the QB/LB still has to communicate that play to the rest of the team..
Personally, I would have the team wear color coded wristbands with X number of plays listed by a 2 digit number.. color coded to make sure you are all wearing the right one for that series.. change them out each quarter or each series.. and make each combination different for each game.. or at least each important game..
Use simple flashcards on the sideline to call each play and/or audible.. no one could steal those signs.. and if you want to call a play that isn't on the wristband.. call a timeout or huddle up.. or maybe have a special signal for 5-10 plays a game..

DB play last year was atrocious and still went 11-1, this DB is a strength now
Based on what? You haven't played a team that even knows the forward pass is legal yet.

As an opposing defense/offense how do you beat them?
I'll let you know as soon as you play someone with a heart beat (and yeah, Michigan doesn't have one).
