Same D Line coming back to punish that O line JUST LIKE LAST YEAR
Except for that Carlos Watkins guy. I'm sure Clemson's DL will be good...but it's not the same DL and AU's OL has absolutely been upgraded. Also, the most puzzling offensive game plan in history didn't exactly help AU's OL last year.

Look, we know, Cam came through and one and doned y'all. It's never been the same since and you want everybody that loses a QB to go through that. But remember, most programs don't have to piece together teams with JUCO guys and kicked out guys after your highly touted recruiting classes turn to shite. And Auburn proved a guy from UGA that played DB can come play QB and do pretty good, so maybe we'll be ok!

I hope we see you around here after the second week of the season.

Now that was a mean low-blow..
True...but low...LOL

Right, Carlos Watkins did get drafted by Texans and he was huge last year. But I seem to remember a 330 pound true freshman playing his first career game on the road making a pretty big impact, along with a DT that will playing out of his position at DE and wreaking havoc lol it's gonna be fun, thats for sure.
Only on an SEC website would a defending national champ that loses one from each level on the defense but returns key contributors, be going up against an O line that they smacked around last year, and an SEC guy be saying that Auburn is upgraded hahahaha

You will, we get to smack around another SEC team the last week of the regular season

I'm sorry but you're not Saban and Bama. Make it to the playoffs without Deshaun Watson and then you can run your mouth.

Can somebody start and sticky a thread for all of the Clemson people? I've looked all over tigerdroppings and the rant and see this SEC forum and a forum for each individual SEC team but can't seem to find a special place for Clemson posters.

This WR corp might be the best group Auburn has had in some time or possibly ever and by the end of the year, will be known as one of the best, if not the best WR corp in the SEC top to bottom.
This seems like a really, really silly statement based on players that are "due for a breakout." Not a single one of your WR had 300+ yards receiving at Auburn last year. The two you added - Ryan Davis had less than 200, and Will Hastings had less than 100.

Everybody has their share of annoying fans, but you Clemson tards really take the cake. You become something more than mediocre for the first time since Danny Ford's cheating arse was roaming the sidelines, and you flood an SEC message board looking for approval for your historically mediocre program. A place you don't belong, and a place most people don't give a shite about you

I didn't say they wouldn't be good. Hell, I'm not surprised that many experts think it's the best DL in the country. Clemson has slowly but surely gotten to that Bama level where they reload not rebuild...even so, lost only one player...but given that Clemson lost 50% of their starting DT's, it's not really accurate to say it's the same DL.

The website itself isn't defending anything

Not the same OL. Our LT is a physical freak from Nigeria that only played one year of HS football and immediately was a 4 star recruit...with only his lack of experience keeping him from 5* status. He's been learning the game for the last 2 years and won the position from former 5* and last year's starter Darius James who is moving to right tackle. 5* and future early round NFL draft pick, Braden James moves back to his natural position at RG (he played RT last year), and multi-year starter from FSU, grad transfer Wilson Bell is new to the OL...but may not even win the starting job due to the emergence of Marquell Harrell and Mike Horton. Auburn absolutely has upgraded at OL.
Should be fun to watch... man, you guys are super-douches though. I actually used to like you MFers

I just go into defense mode when ppl talk shite about Clemson because I've been hearing the same shite for like 6 years now.
Idk if it was you but whoever it was talking about Auburn's WR must have a fricking crystal ball cause none of those dudes even had 300 yards last year. What are we going off of here? Lol
I think y'all have some nice players but if the roles were reversed EVERYONE would be predicting an Auburn win. Coming off a national championship, losing one starter on both starting lines, replacing skill players with guys that have produced in back to back playoff years..it just bugs the frick out of me that people try to look past actual rosters and production and talk shite still

And if Clemson had a starting tackle that came in as a 4*, only played one year of HS football and was a 4* bc of size and potential, y'all SEC ppl would be talking about how a SEC defensive end is gonna blow him up.

I suppose you could say we lost 50%, but Christian Wilkins is going back to DT, his true position and where he played in '15, so DT is without doubt the strongest position on the team.

You seem pretty normal and an actual realistic Auburn fan. Sorry you've turned into Carolina Girl.

Charlie Peel was the cheat that built that Clemson team. Also paved the way for HBC to move into a good spot with the talent Pell brought to Florida. He got the ball rolling as they say.

Gonna come down to turnovers. I have it 34-31 Clemson just because they are at home. I will say this though I was so impressed with Dexter Lawrence last year. Probably the best true freshman DT I've ever seen. Absolute stud
Posted on 8/21/17 at 11:35 am to Dubosed
He was for sure the best freshman DT we have ever had. And played the whole season with a chipped bone in his foot
