Has Gus and his "student" Lashlee come out of the closet yet?

No doubt. He rose through the ranks faster than anyone I know. Paved the way for people like Freeze to climb the ladder as fast as he did.

Bowden quit and wasn't paid anything, Tuberville was settled up pretty quickly after he left. I think Chizik is off the payroll in November.

Most of them are probably still on the payroll.

When did Bowden finally stop getting checks? When Chizik was coaching?
oh, it's one of those Alabama jokes about buyouts.

So original.

Bowden, Dye and Tubs were all cashing checks at the same time.

Well that's simply not true. Dye was still listed as emeritus or something like that but Bowden certainly wasn't. Tubs didn't have a lingering buyout either.

K

Edit. I didn't say anything about Tubberville's buyout. I was talking about while TT was coaching the other two were still on the payroll.

It looks like if he's fired anytime before 2018, his buyout is 15.4 Million.

I know we throw that around, but check out Bret's show on ESPN. He loves it at Arkansas, and he looks at it as his destination job.

Yup, I'm all for local guys getting multi-million dollar contracts and investing in local businesses when they get axed and have a bank account full of buyout dollars.

I might should start a real estate agency that caters to former Arkansas coaches that want to retire in NWA and put the money they suckered other schools to give them to good use.

Of course it is. No better school would hire him after seeing him coach at Ark.

Of course he does, your fricking mascot is pork....bacon. What fatass wouldn't love a place where people dress up and cheer like bacon.

We aren't gonna fire Bret.

Why a Georgia fan cares this much is beyond me......?

Joey isn't a Georgia fan.

He's a fan of a school in SW Georgia, sometimes thought to be in SE AL.

He's just as confused as this map.

My bad. Dye may have been due to his role, but Bowden was not. He walked out mid-season.
