After Curley Hallman, this barely registers as the remotest of concerns to me.

We are merely taking a cat nap - ready to strike when the time is right.

The process can't account for flying pigs and voodoo shite.

How appropriate is it that the same coach that resurrected your program is also the coach that's going to beat you back into your proper place?

I love it.

Bruh. Act like your team is the winner of 3 of the last 4. Not like your team has 2 sec titles in 13 years.

You've got it down Rick.

So you can hate Alabama during hate week you've disguised your hate by saying you expect LSU to lose the game on Saturday in other threads. Then instead of discussing the game, you decide to just chip in tiny hate comments about how Alabama isn't dominant.

Then if Alabama wins, you win! You knew it all along you smart fellow you. LSU just isn't that good this year, even more of a reason that Alabama isn't a complete team and certainly not a dynasty.

If LSU wins,
HOOORAY LSU THE BEST. Saban is almost .500 against MILES. HE EATS GRASS. Alabama will never win another game against him!

The mental gymnastics to guard yourself is awe-inspiring.

Your popcorn should be both well noted, and well advertised. No one likes shitty popcorn.

To his credit, he did say pretty much all that needed to be in one short sentence.

What needs to be said is "We, the LSU fanbase, are finally willing to accept our place as (at best) the #2 team in the SEC. We are sorry for the torrent of embarrassing threads we create on a daily basis as a result of our Bama envy. We will be good from now on."

I'll start then:

Lsu Offense 480 ypg vs Bama Defense 280.9 ypg
Bama Offense 462.8 ypg vs Lsu Defense 351.7 ypg

Lsu Scoring Off 40.2 ppg vs Bama Scoring Def 9.8 ppg
Bama Scoring Off 41.3 ppg vs Lsu Scoring Def 21.9 ppg

Lsu plays per game 64.7 vs Bama plays given up per game 58.4
Bama plays per game 64.8 vs Lsu plays given up per game 69

Lsu yds per play 7.4 vs Bama yds per play allowed 4.8
Bama yds per play 7.1 vs Lsu yds per play allowed 5.1

Lsu rushing ypg 200.6 vs Bama rushing ypg allowed 101.9
Bama rushing ypg 210.8 vs Lsu rushing ypg allowed 148.4

Lsu passing ypg 279.4 vs Bama passing ypg allowed 179
Bama passing ypg 252 vs Lsu passing ypg allowed 203.2

Lsu 1st downs per game 23.1 vs Bama 1st downs allowed per game 14.3
Bama 1st downs per game 24.5 vs Lsu 1st downs allowed per game 19.6

LSU 3rd down conversion .571% vs Bama 3rd down conversion allowed .295%
Bama 3rd down conversion .505% vs LSU 3rd down conversion .383%

LSU Red Zone Offense .860% vs Bama Red Zone Defense .692%
Bama Red Zone Offense .844% vs LSU Red Zone Defense .857%

Based on this and what I've seen I think LSU has to set up the run with the pass. Zach needs to throw 35-40 times accurately and quickly. I don't think our D can slow UA a whole so we will need a tremendous passing performance. It's critical we move the chains. 3 or 4 3&outs and we will be in big trouble.

This will be a slow paced game, so yeah 3 or 4 punts may be the end of either team.

From the stats, LSU's red zone defense is actually really surprising. I picture Alabama having trouble inside the 20 during this game, but that stat gives me some hope.

I think so too.

We are going to have to make the most of every opportunity to keep up for sure. I think UA could withstand a couple of mistakes, but I don't think we can.

And like I said, we usually try to establish the run, then pass. But I think this is the only game this year where that would be a mistake.

Alabama is only going to be beat on the corners. They'll probably have 30-40% more YPC than LSU just because the run defense is pretty lopsided in Alabama's favor. So if you put it on Mett to widen the field, the matchup actually becomes pretty favorable for LSU.

Edit: This is literally the gameplan for LSU last year. And that actually worked pretty well. Then again, LSU had a defense that could stop a balanced attack, not sure about this year.
