Introducing Blake Barnett, Alabama RS Freshman QB, was a unanimous 5 star dual threat qb coming out of HS. I'm not gay or anything but you can't deny that BB has got it going on. He probably turned down millions in modeling and acting contracts to come to Bama and play for the best.
His GF is pro surfer Maddie Peterson.
Let's face it, he is better looking, better at life and better at football than anyone on your team. It's not even up for debate really.

It's gonna suck if this guy starts and is underwhelming. We've hyped him up to be the next great and he hasn't even seen the field yet.

Post of the day. Give the boy some time and room to develop. Being a starting Alabama QB is a hard thing. His day will come and if he does his job like his predecessors he will get his due then.

Serious question: I know this guy is the fan favorite but Coker was the fan favorite win Sims won the job. Is there anything that indicates he's more than just the fan favorite or that he's the likely starter?

Cooper Bateman knows the offense and has experience, he just needs some fine tuning. Saban wouldn't have played him early in the year if he didn't believe he had a chance to be successful. Some Bama fans are anointing a guy who has even had to have his uniform washed yet.

No
He's a fan fav because he was a 5* QB and supposdlly did really well for a time in spring practice last year.
