of blowouts over the years in those first round playoff games. This isn’t something new.

Even blowouts in the championship game. Notre Dame's blowout of Indiana doesn't come close to Georgia's destruction of TCU in the championship game just two years ago. The largest margin of victory in any bowl game in the history of college football.

Until last year when Georgia demolished FSU.

Turned out to not even be a blowout. 27-17 would have been considered right in the 4 team era of mostly blowouts
