Of course Bama doesn't want to move beyond football.
Granted, it's the most important to all of us but....
LSU is a Baseball powerhouse, and Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss. St. etc.. all have highly successful baseball programs.
Arkansas owns T&F and were National Runners-Up in Golf.
Kentucky owns Basketball.
There is more than football, but in Bama you're so bad at everything else that you skip over a hell of a lot of things that you regularly get your arse kicked in.
Granted, it's the most important to all of us but....

I assume you are posting about this past football season and not covering the football program's history.
I think your original post is close, except for your quarterback play, which also had a negative effect on your receivers. Because of those two issues, I could not place this past season's team as the best in SEC history.

Easy now......
LSU has fast women, in some years, in Indoor/Outdoor Track.
But Arkansas has won damn near every Track & Field/Cross Country title out there the last 2 decades, year in and year out.

I bet you hillbillies cared about baseball when y'all were going to Omaha consistently. At most schools baseball is a drain on the athletic budget. At places like LSU and Texas baseball actually makes money AND we win championships. You act like baseball in this country is viewed like the WNBA. Baseball is the single most historical sport in the country.
