The thing everyone overlooks is that plays are called thru helmet communication these days This is like claiming Elon Musk is rich because he listens to the telegraph wire communications surreptitiously…..

There’s one player on offense (QB nearly 99.999% of the time) and one player on defense that have headset communication. Those players have to get the call to their teammates through, wait for it…..SIGNALS or verbal communication.

Guess what the position group coaches on the sidelines are also doing, sending signals, constantly.

BUT MUH HEADSET COMMUNICATION MAKES THEM HAND SIGNALS OBSOLETE!!

Tell me more about how little you know about big time college football.

Stoops almost ruined the Oklahoma football program. I can barely stand at hear him speak. This program is a fraction of how good it was before he ever showed up. It’s like he’s never gonna disappear. Drives me crazy.

I just agreed that I don’t think he’s doing anything illegal. But of course you’d have to actually have on objective opinion about what I said instead of just blindly supporting your team through and through lol

You said nothing noteworthy. You just regurgitated old nonsense with no substance behind it through and through lol

If you still have monkeys on your sidelines doing the humpty-dance to send signals in, or holding up posters with donald duck on them instead of sending signals directly to your QB via helmet comms, maybe you're just a clown program and that's what you should be worried about.

How do you think the QB is calling audibles at the LOS, through his fricking headset?

You think the entire secondary is wired up on defense?

Some of these teams dont even huddle up, so how do you think they are communicating plays between the 11 when only one player has the headset?

So what you're saying is, after both teams send their signals in and the offense communicates verbally what the play is, our coaches alllll the way over on the sidelines can hear what the QB said and adjust on the fly with milliseconds left before they snap the ball?

But you know "big time college football".....

You don’t think there are checks with the OL, receivers, and backs that are visual and verbal signals?

You don’t think this occurs after the huddle?

You don’t think teams study those signals for tendencies?

That is sign stealing. At no point did I say I had a problem with it.

I have pointed out numerous times how got damn stupid you dirt burglars appear to be though. And I got problems with dipshits, 100%.

One of us has a comprehension of the limitations of time during a football game, the other does not.

Here's what I "think"

A few short years ago, your team got its arse kicked by Clemson in a natty game we all watched, and Venables happened to be their DC.

As we alllll know, Bama never really loses a game. They're either not interested because it was meaningless, or Bama beats itself.

Fast forward to, well, just this week, when one of your beat reporters asked your OC about Venables stealing signals during a press conference. That old wound re-opened, and some of your fans (like YOU) latched onto that excuse and you're running with it because it's easier than just accepting you got your asses kicked.

Now you tell me what I don't know about "big time college football" and "dipshits"

The fact that one cannot call your HC an elite DC who is also elite at stealing signs has so many of you Swooners clutching pearls tells me you won’t last in SEC long term.

Venables was stealing signs well before they kicked Bama’s arse in Santa Clara. The Bama offense moved the ball that night, just turned it over and could not convert drives in the Red Zone. Savion Smith (CB) got torched like a DC crack pipe, hard and often.

If sign stealing was what set Clemson apart from the three previous CFP games Alabama played against them, more power to them.

Perhaps go back and read the OP? Or at least change your maxi-pad, it’s leaking harder than The Edmund Fitzgerald.

ETA: Your edits drink toilet water.

Proactive excuse making is certainly new to college football, and you're way out in front of everybody else. Congrats Mr Visionary!

Here’s my Original Post. We are in a special place here……..

“Let me be clear that Brent Venables is elite DC

If he’s figured out how to steal signals, that is elite.

If the dirt burglars look in the mirror, too many Stoops cost them dearly.

Nepotism hires rarely work.

RMFT”

Exactly ONE OU fan in what is now a four page thread read this correctly. Do I need to link it for you?

Do you have a degree from OU?

ETA: Have zero clue about any comments Stoops made, he hasn’t been OUs coach for a decade at least.

Same with CFP games BAMA lost pre-COVID.

Put the strap on away, Charlotte, it doesn’t work here.

I read your OP, dipshit.

It says nothing. Just more gobbledy-asian about sign stealing that has never had any substance behind it because your beat writer asked your OC about it in your press conference, like I said, which was your motivation for creating this thread in the first place.
