He still has a "want" to win.

As a Michigan fan you're likely to have only seen the end of the '09 LSU/Ole Miss game 10-20 times; to get a truer sense of how we feel about Les you should buy a bottle of small batch bourbon and watch it 50-100 times in a row. (I believe 65 is the prerequisite for posting on the Tiger Rant.) But by all means lock up your guns first, strong suicidal tendencies are common throughout the 30-40th range.

since we are on the topic, my housemate, female, State Penn student in her youth, was watching Ole Miss LSU with me, as a fan.
She ended up screaming at the TV, most of the last minute of the game.

PS She did not say mean things to me, during the State Penn vs LSU bowl game in the new sodded turf fiasco.

So... a neutral person, not even an LSU fan, was screaming at the TV, no drink, not stoned, just watching football.

I dont think I could ever watch any LSU football again if I watched that 65 times. I only watched it once, and I can still see the last few plays in my minds eye, the drop back to pass (for a loss) when I was expected a run to the right side to get 5 yards and set up the winning field goal. Oh my god.

Look, Les did the right thing by dismissing Perilloux
but that decision came with drastic consequences see Hatch starting the season
If we improve just a little at the QB this year, we'll have survived and will strengthen from here on out

I just saw the replay of LSU vs BAMA game in 2007
where we barely won the game and were ranked #3 in Polls. We gave up 138 yards in penalties in that one game. We almost beat ourselves in this game. We were the most heavily penalized team in the SEC the same year we went to NC game. That showed Les Miles lack of leadership in that area of dicipline of the team. We won games despite bad games, player error & bad coaching because we were just that D_ _ _ GOOD....with our talent and depth. That goes back 4 years now. Watching him on the sideline I became aware he was out of touch with his players and leadership.
