he a smoker?

I don't think so. I don't remember him smoking during his time at Kentucky and he was always walking around campus

I too, hope it is not true. I don't think I would like him as Auburn's head coach, but I do like his wierdness.

Would hate to see him have to step away for medical issues. He’s a CFB treasure.

He definitely dips. Or used to dip. Don't know if he smoked before.

He has been doing the cough thing for some years I think he is fine

If it has gotten worse that can be a classic CHF waning sign, coupled with his weight and pale coloring

Some symptoms ...

Fatigue / weakness
Shortness of breath
Coughing (persistent)
Swelling (belly / abdomen)
Weight gain (fluid build up)
Concentration / alertness issues

I thought he used to walk a lot at WSU but as CHF progresses it would drastically be reduced. Not sure if folks see him walking for distance @ State.

In the later stages the persistent coughing becomes most serious when mucus and blood tinged expectorant as the fluid is forced from the chest into the lungs in late stages of the failure. If folks have some of the above issues, don't be a stoic basttard, see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis.
