I'm guessing it would be the acceptance of those around them and not constantly hearing things like they have a mental disorder.

Doesn't seem that complicated to me.

It's the social conservative part of the republican party that push these things which help get liberals elected if you want to get political. That along with the establishment putting it's thumb down on any libertarian parts of the party.

How are people supposed to control what they like? The only choice is if they act on it. And I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to as long as they aren't hurting someone else.

I don't think being gay is a choice. I've never in my life looked at a man and thought I'd like to have sex with them. There is no choice, it's not what I like. Are people who think it's a choice waking up and deciding not to be gay?

I've also never woke up and decided I want to be a woman either. There is no choice in what I like or feel. So how is it a choice for them?

How are you going to change what someone likes and feels?
