Maybe you should check some stats. We lead the league in forcing 3 and outs

FWIW ALA (25%) leads LSU (31%)in both 3rd down defense efficiency and first down defense. Bama gives up 11 first downs per game, LSU 15.

Actually been twice....and it is EXTREMELY overrated

It's comical how lsu fans think that TS is so much louder than everywhere else. It's not Steve, if you wandered out of Louisiana every now and then for a game you would know that

You are truly a dumb shite......DV on Nov 3rd will be absolutely nuts. And I've been to every stadium in the SEC, except South Carolina and Missouri, so you'd be spouting BS once again.

:deal with it:

egitimate question: what is mccarron's best road win as a starter? this isn't a pointed question, i am legitimately curious. would it be Penn State?

Probably 5-0 bama vs 5-0 Florida at night in the swamp

i attended Tennessee. Was there in '98 when we beat UF and stormed the field. Was there for the Stoernover against Arkansas.

Tiger Stadium is a much louder venue.

That wasn't the case gong into this past weekend. They even said before our game we led the league in that particular category, .

I realize that Death Valley is one of the loudest and most intimidating places to play in all of CFB, but I take comfort in the fact that a talented and experienced Oline and QB will be able to manage the situation appropriately.

The impact of the stadium is more important for LSU than Bama. An insane home crowd can help energize and lift a team to do something extraordinary. The home team has to be in position to win and playing well, but Tiger fans have seen this plenty of times. The UF game in 07 and Bama games in 2008 (even though LSU lost, that team had no business being in that game) and 2010 are good examples. Considering the revenge factor after the NC game, I think the crowd will definitely be a factor.

One more thing to consider here, as well, is the fact that Bama hasn't been behind at all this year, and hasn't even been tested by anyone yet. It's hard to day how any team will react to adversity when they have rarely experienced it. This kind of thing gets compounded on the road. If things do break the Tigers' way, don't fool yourself. That can get in anyone's head. Players are just as human as anyone, even when they are coached by a cyborg.

Until bama jumps out to a lead and they start booing 3rd down toss plays and single receiver routes. Noise from drunk fans isn't going to move the chains or stifle the bama offense. You need to deal with that

You won't see him for a LONG time. He's made about 500 ban bets on the SECR.

But we can ALL hope he leaves for good.

This is true. If bama loses in BR I'll make a farewell thread for shots to be fired and will be gone to the OT until January

Actually I think Bama trailed Ole Miss 7-3, but returned the kickoff after Ole Miss scored and never trailed again. Bama was behind only for 1 play.

My point is that this is an experienced and talented Alabama team that is not likely to be intimidated by the atmosphere at Tiger Stadium.

If LSU elevates its level of play, it could beat the Tide. I don't think the Tigers have played well enough to date to do so. That does not mean they can't, but simply they have been too inconsistent on offense in their first eight games.

I think even LSU fans would acknowledge that their team has not looked sharp.

Are you REALLY counting being down 3-0 to Ole Miss? Wasn't that the only time? If so, then you are a fool. How long has Bama been down this entire season? 5 mins or less, right? They have not been challenged by a single team. Please leave and take this weak- minded crap with you.

Completely agree

Agree again

But something tells me Nov 3rd is going to be different....and it REALLY wouldn't surprise me that we'd lose a game after Bama.

Hope not but wouldn't surprise me at all.

The D's one bad run was due to an offense that didn't hold up its end

Then how do you explain why Towson was able for 188 yards (In Tiger Stadium, btw) when the LSU offense put up a ton of yards on that high school defense?

This is all very true. LSU will have to play a lot better on offense to win. They have had good enough D other than wearing down in the 2nd half at UF, but the O has to raise its game. By the way, this is exactly what happened in 2010. A terrible offensive unit with QB issues and a so-so O line turned in the second half of their season against Bama and won. It happens.

I think the home crowd "can" help with this. The bye week can, as well, if used correctly. Again, that 2008 team was a HELL of a lot bigger mess than this year's, and they pushed a much better Bama squad to OT.
