The classic "I knew that but was checking to see if you did" ropeadope. You have an endless repertoire of moves imo

We like being underdogs. Worked well against Tennessee last year

Any truth to South Carolina being independent for so long because they were tired of getting the shite kicked out of them by acc schools?

if I'd only cared enough to look up more than UTK bowl losses to the ACC...

where did you find UTK's record vs Maryland?

ETA: Just kidding. Last time Bama was a dog to an ACC team was the kickoff classic in 2008 vs Clemson, +4.5

And so it began.......I still reminisce about that 2008 season in the same way that rich people like to remember the days when they were broke. I love the dynasty, but there is no greater feeling than beating a team you had no business beating.

That Clemson team had CJ Spiller, James Davis, and Jacoby Ford. Alabama didn't have a single player anyone could name other than Alabama fans.

Per my sources USC is still celebrating their big win over a Lyle coached VOLS team. Coach Muschamp has not been able to keep them focused for the NC State game.

UT fans on this board still bring up the 2013 SC-UT game. Apparently it's the biggest win for the Vols of the last 15 years.

1969 ACC Football Champions
1970 ACC Basketball Champions
1971 ACC Basketball Tournament Champions

SC leaves the ACC in the 1971-1972 season.

What in the world?

It was nice at the time considering the slaw roster but would not even be in the top 3 of the Lyle Allen Jones tenure

Beating a team that finished #4 in the country wouldn't be top 3 under Butch?

F1orida 2016 and Georgia 2015/2016 were much bigger in the grand scheme of things, Korin.

I can see how breaking an 11 game losing streak would be a bigger deal, tbh

Iwabh probably Georgia 2015 and 2016. I might even throw Virginia Tech @Bristol in. All eyes were on VOLS that night and it would've been quite the embarrassment to lose on a race track in front of 150k people

When there's talent there those types of teams are deadly. I've never understood why people think unknown means untalented, especially in CFB where players are constantly changing.
