Really. I mean, State has no claim to any, but UK was awarded the 1950 NC retroactively in 2004 by Sagarin's computer poll.

Was the 1996 Florida Gator team not worthy of claiming a championship because they couldn't beat FSU twice that season, even though they whupped 'em in the BCA (pre-cursor to the BCS) Championship Game?

We won a flag football natty back in the late 90's (my college days). I still remember nailing that blonde at midfield once the lights were turned off.
