Auburn also went undefeated with no trophy under Bowden, I think.

Auburn has done it twice. But nobody has had it done more than Joe Pa up at Penn State I don't believe.

Well I can see that. It depends on the strentgh that year of the conference. But going undefeated in the SEC and not getting to at least play for the trophy is absurd.

2004 for sure. Being in a bowl ban in 93 did Auburn in that year.

2004 when they went undefeated and STILL couldnt win the NC.

This is always such a funny thing to bring up by LSU fans. In 2007 LSU backed into the NC with 2 fricking losses - 2!!! In 2004 AU went undefeated and was victim ONLY to the fact that OK and USC were also undefeated and ranked higher than AU all season. You can talk about AU's weak out of conference schedule being a key reason for that - and it's certainly a valid point. But in 2007, don't tell me that Tulane, Middle Tenn St, and La Tech were not cream puffs for LSU either. Had 2007 seen the same type of strength in the top of the polls as 2004, LSU would have been Outback Bowl bound. So STFU.

No its just because your Auburn.

Its an inside thing to keep hillbillies and Bobby Lowder from ever having a National Championship. Even when everything goes right and Auburn is the best team, it doesnt matter.
Your still Auburn. No Trophy for you!! Good day!

Its between Bama, LSU and Ole Miss. I think LSU wins the west and loses to Florida in the SECG.
I dunno, man. Ole Miss has had ya'll's number of late, and we'll be in it at the end of the game.

I'm glad they didn't. USC would have whipped them and the SEC wouldn't be as respected as it is today because of that.

Yeah Texas and Oklahoma and the Big 12 really suffered for it the last couple of years.
