This is an obvious flame, but it's been awhile since Auburn has been this quiet. I would probably go back to the 1999 or 2000 season and in 2000 they went to the SECCG.

Normally in Auburn's case they struggle dealing with high expectations. Just the opposite is true when they are quiet or seemingly irrelevant like right now.

I look for Auburn to win a couple of games they shouldn't next year.

Regardless of what I think

Auburn has always been the most dangerous when they are "quiet". They've been the biggest busts when they are hyped in the preseason.

It's amazing what a conference championship game loss and a bowl loss will do to pump up a fanbase.

out of pure curiosity. since everyone can clearly the the facts about where Bama WAS and where Bama IS, is the quoted phrase above something that people believe will bother us? is it consistantly stated because it's the one thing this last season they can hold over us?

i honestly don't know anyone that let those two losses get in the way of our extreme excitement over the direction we're headed in. so, if it's meant as an insult or to bother us, imho it's a waste of time. but whatever, i'm just trying to figure out if it's like Bama fans constantly jeering out 36-0 at Auburn or whatever. now THAT would get to me if i was on the flip side of the iron bowl outcome. but i honestly just am not offended or bothered by the 2 losses jabs.

Not including their gossip mill, AU fans have been almost silent this offseason. It really caught me by surprise.

I think so.

Auburn also went undefeated with no trophy under Bowden, I think.

Being on probation had a little to do with that.

WHO? Auburn?

Its between Bama, LSU and Ole Miss. I think LSU wins the west and loses to Florida in the SECG.
