I don't see why Lane would wanna jump from a good college town he's proved can satisfy the base into a place that thinks anything less than a National championship is failure when they haven't been relevant since Meyers left. The only thing Gainesville really has on Ole Miss is a bigger stadium and denser population but what's that mean in NIL era? The area is a dump.

Lane doesn't strike me as the type to be looking for low pressure. Deep down he wants a roster with top 5 talent being talked about in the same conversation as Alabama, UGA, and Ohio St. And he believes he could have that at Florida but not Ole Miss.

Dude, have you done a deep dive on Ole Miss roster as it stands right now? Damn, sometimes it’s best to remain silent not to prove you are a dumbass.

If UF wants Lane, they will get Lane.

Doubt they want to put up with all the periphery that comes baked in the cake with him.

You still don't want to play Kidfin at Ole Miss, this isn't the OM of old. They can ruin your season.

Hopefully the real Dart shows up against Bama this year and gives them a win.

The only way Ole Miss and Bama will play this year is if they meet in Atlanta, or in the playoffs.

Isn't that convenient, how did that happen?

Still looking like nobody is excited to play Ole Miss, hopefully they get a chance at Bama.

He needs to play that true freshman QB if he wants to keep his job.

You’re absolutely right. If he wants to keep his job, he should have his preseason top 10 team be led by a true freshman with absolutely no experience instead of a 3-year starter heisman candidate.

Swear to fricking god some of you are allergic to logical thought.

Did you watch the game yesterday? Florida's 10 points were from a mistake the Miami QB made putting Florida in FG range, and a single long run a RB managed to bust off for like 70 yards. Beyond that, Florida did not convert a SINGLE 3rd down the entire game...until they played the true freshman QB I mentioned. It was basically the only Florida offensive drive of the game, and the offense looked worlds better with him in the game.

If they bring out that offense behind that 1st string QB the rest of the year, he won't last 6 games. It was absolutely terrible.

Btw, Jalen Hurts started for Alabama as a true freshman.

If you have to start a post to say it won’t happen, it absolutely might happen.

Never mind. I didn’t realize you were talking about Napier.

You mean exactly like this year at Ole Miss?
