Auburn doesn't blame everything on the DC. They have blamed Gus for the offense too. Auburn also didn't start blaming Gus for 2011 because he left like Bama fans have the OCs that they've lost. Bama fans blame Kiffin for not scoring enough no matter what the Defense looks like.
Bama fans go way beyond just a coordinator here and there. They do it with every player and coach that ever comes through. Then combine it with the "No one ever beats us. We beat ourselves." and the every coach that leaves was fired and there is no comparing it to how any other fanbase acts.

Bama fans bitched plenty about the defense this year. Primarily the defensive backs.

Bama fans did a 180 on AJ, started claiming Coker was better just because AJ left. Same thing with Kiffin now. Praised him all year, someone mentions he might leave and suddenly he was the cause of your problems.
Changing your tune just because they aren't there at that moment is alot different than claiming a coach sucks all year and then saying the next guy should be better when he is hired.

In football, we call this a "Play Action" pass. That's a great call when you've been pounding the rock and have second down and short. Any offensive coordinator in the country not named Cam Cameron would have called a play action there. If you're in the mood to score points, it's a good play call. If Sims gets rid of the ball and it's incomplete, they run on third and short.

You mean the exact same thing Auburn does every other year with their Defensive Coordinator?
Actually I was thinking exactly the way we LSU fans have done Chavis after he left....
