More Fulmer's fault than Kiffin's but both are responsible for our recent struggles

Fulmer had some talent at Tennessee during his final years. He always recruited solidly. The problem was he became complacent after 1998 and slowly began to stop coaching. Lane Kiffin's departure really threw the program into chaos.

just stating facts...you have had a lot of arrests there....and outside of 3-4 players on offense, you don't have a lot of talent on your team.....I know, I know...this year is different and arky stacked and sec fricked....i know.

Fulmer left Tennessee in an awful spot. Kiffin was doing well with the foundation, but his leaving ruined everything he had done.

You're right VC, I'm going to call our coaches and tell them we should just quit for the season

What's wrong with what I said? You really think all those players that left would still be gone if Kiffin is here?

How old do you believe most posters in this thread are? Young or old?

2001 was the year that really started the downhill slide. Fulmer crippled us and then Kiffin beat us with a sledgehammer

LK is probably the best coach in college foot and we would be number one if he were still here. Bray, hunter, Rogers, Jansen, Patterson, Bruce Brown. Instead USC is number one. Whatever lane touches turns to gold.

I've said there's not another job in America that I would have left Tennessee to take. The USC job is it, the only one.

Lane Kiffin would have won multiple National Titles at Tennessee. He would have been the best coach in the East and would have made the SEC title game 75% of the time. One out of those 3, he would play for the BCS title.

Sucks for UT, but I don't give a frick.

Yeah he really impressed me with that 7-6 record and buttfricking in the bowl game his only year here. He would've been a good coach, but not that good

Im sure USC being number 1 has nothing to do with USC being top 5 in recruiting for 6 out of the last 7 years and the only other pac 12 school to even break the the top 10 was UCLA, and they only did it once in those 7 years.
