Last night Hurts had 14 option plays and ran the ball 19 times. Insane. Kiffin has completely turned away from Hurts actually trying to be a QB because he saw that he struggled making some throws and was good at running. But now that he's focused on that, he has ruined a large part of our offense.

The last 2 football games (Florida & Washington) were as discombobulated and clunky as I can remember an Alabama offense looking since Major Applewhite in 2007.

I didn't trust Lane one bit going into next Monday, and I was the first one on the LANE 4 PRESIDENT bandwagon in 2013. Again, Sark could not make things any worse than they were last week unless he stabs our starters in the legs and makes us run the Mike Leach spread.

I don't need to follow the games closely to know that firing your OC a week out from the NC is a bad thing

Quit being thick. Yeah, Sark has been in a bubble all season. Hasn't interacted at all with the team he's paid by.

Tell us again how bad Bo is.

This could not possibly have anything to do with the true freshman QB getting rattled in the SEC championship and Playoff game though.

It's clearly all on Kiffin.

That's fine. Keeping him distracted and calling horrible plays is also bad. But you won't say that I'm sure.

Saban got his arms around it the best he could by having Sark on staff already. Very smart move.

It's not like Saban had much of a choice if Kiffin was too distracted with FL Atlantic to focus on the offensive game plan. It's not like Kiffin has ever been accused of being the most mature person in the world. Obviously he couldn't handle both responsibilities. I'm sure Saban didn't have a choice at this point if he wanted 100% focus on our offensive game plan going into the NC game.

I think Lane had checked out after securing the HC job. The timing isn't ideal but I can see why Saban would want to cut dead weight.

Hell I still have my money on Bama. I'm simply laughing at the attempt at spinning this like it actually is a good thing.

If you watched the past few games, I think the majority of Bama fans will tell you it's a good thing. To me-- our offense has been a weakness in recent games-- especially this last one. I don't think our offense will be much worse with the guy that was considered an offensive genius at Washington and USC. Booger or no booger.

I didn't say interacted, I said "coached". Something he was not supposed to be doing. Are You admitting that he's been in violation of NCAA rules this entire season?

How Kiffin left his last 4 jobs: called a liar by Al Davis; riots at Tennessee; fired at LAX airport; fired before national title game.

When your big running back is gashing teams for 8 YPC (8.3 vs UF, 9.5 vs UW) and your first response after 2 15+ yard runs inside the 25 yard line, with said struggling true freshman QB, is to run a naked bootleg with 2 pass options that then lead you back out of FG range..................yea that's 100% all Kiffin's fault.

Or when you come out in the 1st drive of the 2nd half and throw the ball 3 consecutive times like we did against Florida? Yea that's all Kiffin's fault.

Trust me, I love Kiffin, I backed him for 3 years. The last 2 games were pure dogshite.

I like the decision lets Nick see if Sark can handle the pressure in a big game. Nick also knows he can lean
on the D if he needs to. Nick play Chess while all the other coaches play checkers.

You guys can spin this however you like, but the smart move would have been to do this after the SEC Championship Game, and have Sark handle everything in the bowl prep, and all game planning. This move is a last minute patch to solve a problem created by NOT making the move at the right time. Doing it now carries more risk than doing it earlier would have.

Seriously, what is Hurts' problem? You have a bevy of tremendous receivers and he refuses to throw the ball. I can't remember the last timing pattern he's thrown. When he does throw, it's rarely accurate. That's the offensive problem.

Meanwhile, Bo reminds me of the "Messin' with Sasquatch" Jack Link's commercials.

So, here's my recommendation. Have Hurts run into Bo, then Sasquatch picks him up and throws Hurts and the ball to O.J.

Finally a completion.

You're welcome.

Tell em SVP sent ya.
