If you believe that I've got some oceanfront property Nebraska for you. Anybody who thinks that Saban adheres to the 20-hour rule, the limited number of coaches rule, or any other rule is kidding themselves. The dude is a ruthless winning machine and he could give two shits about the rules. Any rules.

Agree. Its the Jimmies and Joes not the x and os that are the pillars of his success and highlights his failure in NFL.

No. But apparently you are. Do you really believe it will be a new offense? Same plays, different play caller.

Thats what you implied, goof. The offense and tendencies will not change. Or do you think video of Sark isnt avail?
There is zero advantage to this move.

I beg to differ here. Kiffin liked to run jet sweeps to stretch defenses and open up the middle for the run game. Sark may use the run up the middle to set up shots deep. Clemson won't know this until they get into the game.

No need for new plays. Same plays as before- just when they are called. A philosophy change. Help out a young QB with safe throws instead of putting the game on his shoulders with low percentage pass plays. Run the ball inside 20 if your getting 7 yards per carry.

I always felt lane was trying to paint an offensive masterpiece with no regard for the situation or talent on the team. I'm also certain that he began to resent everyone questioning the playcalling.

Kiffin is gone. Who in the world would study his tendencies now?
Sark tendencies wont change, either. Video is available for same for Clemson to study, and they will.

So we agree. No change at all.

So you really think it's easier for Clemson to prepare for somebody that hasn't called a game in a year with other teams players. Or for Sark to prepare how he will utilize the players skill sets he has been around all season against Clemson's defense? I would say if there is an advantage it goes to Sark.

because they will implement a whole new offensive scheme a week prior to the NC
makes sense

Do you think it will be easy for the players with Sark calling the plays? They have no in-game experience with his game plan or rapport. This isn't Madden or NCAA on ps3

I'm not sure how Gus and Rhett do it on the Plains but I'm pretty sure most other schools actually game plan for the team they are about to play. How and where to attack with the same plays they've ran all year.
I mean I can understand believing the whirly bird play will work against everybody.

Alabama did the right thing. Kiffen trying to throw the ball over and over when the rungame was clearly working against Washington was quite the head scratcher. I think Sark will do well, but I think Nick will definitely have more input on the play calling against Clemson. Sark will have more control next year I think.

I know some attempts ended up being scrambles that were counted as runs, but Alabama was only credited with 14 pass attempts. That's really not a lot in modern football and wasn't "over and over."
If Bama can't pass and is made one dimensional against Clemson, Bama will lose. Saban and Sark both know this.

People can say what they want but Kiffin was flat out fired. The best recruiting tool Kiffin and FAU had was to have Kiffin calling plays in a title game. This was no mutual decision. His desperation for any HC job shows he had no job waiting for him at Alabama. The guy was late for meetings, had a lack of focus, and showed a complete disregard for the overall gameplan this past year.
As usual Kiffin can't get out of his own way. This situation will come up over and over if he ever does get to interview for a major job again. And he won't be getting that coveted endorsement from Saban because of how he acted when the team needed him most.
