It's just a list of schools that were most popular at the start of the modern era and basically built the sports popularity. That's it.
If you want to make a list of top performing teams over that past X years, feel free. I'm sure LSU will do pretty well in them. But it's not a list of blue bloods, it's a list of top performance teams over the past X years.

Lane is a horrible recruiter.
I remember thinking Lane was gonna be this cool sociable outgoing guy when we first hired him because of his social media persona and the Joey freshwater stories.
Then you get to know him better and observe him interacting with others and he’s just an autistic socially awkward weirdo who has no ability to connect with other human beings.
