My guess is because the CSA was a poorly mismanaged cesspool that no longer holds any sway in the eyes of the public. The Army of Northern Virginia however managed to actually do something of note by having several military victories despite the inadequacy of supplies and troops due to the aforementioned poorly mismanaged CSA.
The Battle of Chancellorsville for instance had Robert E. Lee's troops outnumbered by more than 2:1 and still routed Union forces for a major military victory.
The only thing for the South to be "proud" of during the Civil War was the Army of Northern Virginia. That was the only thing that the Confederacy had going for it. Everything else was a colossal disaster. That's why the flag is still in use today whereas the majority of people in the country couldn't even tell you what the CSA flag looks like.

Major Victory?
It was a withdrawal and gained Lee absolutely nothing except men he couldn't replace, specifically Jackson.
*Not the board to discuss these matters, but a fun discussion no less.

Does he realize that if he doesn't play, he will lose his scholarship and go undrafted, have to get a real job ,that could suck cuz no college degree.
Does he understand the school can't change the flag. Way to throw away potential generational wealth.
He's bluffing anyway. He will just say he didn't realize the school isn't capable of changing the flag
I highly doubt he is bluffing. Also, I am certain the flag does and has been a point of contention for him and other athletes attending MS schools, even if most schools, some cities and a variety of other public institutions across the state stopped flying it around 2015 after the Charleston church shooting.
That said, with the current environment and recent Justin Fields' precedent, he has also most likely realized a free chance to transfer out penalty free. I highly doubt it has gone unnoticed that Mike Leach's most consistent achievement at Wazzu was finishing dead last in FBS in rushing attempts per game EVERY yr that he was there. Yes, he would be included in the passing game (which is a big bonus for NFL backs and something that would likely suit his skillset well).
But, good on him either way. He will be playing for his 3rd coach in 4 years. No matter the issue with the flag, he is entering his draft year. He needs a big year that won't come stats or exposure wise, most likely, at MSU. Let him go fill a hole somewhere else where he can be the bell cow.

My thoughts are this. Stop letting kids run this nations.
This same movement is in front of the WH right now tearing down Andrew Jackson.
This same group is calling for the destruction of Jesus paintings, Statues...etc because he is a symbol of white supremacy.
SAME MOVEMENT.
The co founder stated she is a trained marxist.
The amount people are willing to give away over the ability to watch a game is th most pathetic thing I have ever seen this nation do.
News for you .... Where ever marxist have taken over... millions have died within years. You are watching a very well thought out attack on the foundation of the USA to bring about change to marxism.
Period.

Was change needed, yes. But, the overswing is going to be hard to get back in the box when all is said and done.

The problem is the marxist tactics of telling people what they WILL DO or else.
I don't know many people that would not vote down the flag in MS. However now.... I assure you they would vote against doing it for spite.
All of this other stuff.... I hope it sinks the whole party

And absent a special session of the legislature before the football season, which seems highly unlikely, noting can even be done before 2021 to call an election. So it looks like Kylin will not be playing football this year, at least for State.

This Kyla Hill guy opted to take a scholarship to play for a school that was allegedly racist, and still continued to play for said school?
The retard is from Mississippi. But it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he didn't know what the state flag looked like until he went to college and got woke.

Let him sit, maybe he can get a deal with Nike or maybe he’ll be giving up the best opportunity of his life. His decision.
