The shot was missed and the rebound went to the right side of the floor. Look at the positioning and tell me which team gets that rebound 9 times out of 10?

What happened? Kamani Johnson happened.

He got the board and put it in, giving Arkansas the lead with under a minute to go.

Offensive rebounds in the tournament:

Kamani: 10
Arkansas’ opponents: 10

And Kamani doesn’t get a lot of playing time.

The difference is serranaustitute likes to dick ride the very best player Tennessee has in any given sport as if people don’t already know who that is. Kamani really isn’t a well know player and like OP says doesn’t get a ton of minutes. Dudes just a grinder though and makes those nasty plays no one thinks about

His brother played for UK.

ETA. Don’t remember hating on Dakkari.

I really like Kamani. He is a role player and accepts it. Makes the most of what he gets. He supports his team and teammates. He gets out in the community. Seems like a legit good dude and is a good role model.

He has had several crucial plays at crucial times over the last two years.

Kamani is a dog and is exactly what we needed to give us a boost.

Completely agree with what you said- he’s always fully into the game whether he’s on the court or not.

And he’s got a great smile.

Can’t wait until you guys lose next week. Because you have made it to the sweet 16 you will consider the season a success. And we won’t have to hear from you again. Win win.

I thought Walsh's rebound on the free throw line was more critical and impressive.

Well, it took both of those rebounds for us to win.

I love Walsh too, always gives full effort. He just had no touch on his shot for 3/4 of the season which I’m sure frustrated him more than us but that seems to have gotten better.

Walsh making that 3 was huge too. He clearly hesitated early when he had an open look at 2. That was a big shot.

Just saying. Kamani is easily one of the most likeable players in CBB. No, he’ll never get the cred bc he hardly ever sees the court, but he’s a major positive variable for our team and opponents always end up regretting it when he comes in. At worst he is five of the hardest, worst, fouls anyone wants under the goal and a lot of contested rebounds and bows in between. Dude should try out as a DE/OLB if he’s quick enough, lol.

no, that's no joke

Ed Too Tall Jones was a basketball player at Tennessee State

I would love to see Kamani put the pads on this spring
