I've not been on here much tonight. What happened? I for one am proud of Burrow. He definitely deserved to win.

Witnesses told her that while her dad and cousin were at the bar, a man took issue with some of the interactions the cousin was having with one of the women, Bowers said. “All she wanted to do is be friendly and buy people’s drinks. Somebody’s boyfriend didn’t like that. It escalated from there.” Bowers said she was told two men approached her father. One tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Your old lady . . .” and then punched him, she said. Bowers fell out of his chair and hit his head on the floor, she said. “They kept hitting him while he was on the ground.”

The fight, police said, was not over the game.

Ponchatoula's Police Chief told me today , the fight that led to Robert Bowers' death at the Ponchatoula Pub was not over LSU-Alabama game. The Chief said the fight began over an incident involving Bowers' niece, who was intoxicated. Heartbreaking still, but not over football.

Coonass apologist or not, I think the LSU fan base will have a hard time living up to the standard set by our neighbors to the East.

This year, an LSU fan, 29-year-old James Michael Roland “Mikie” Merritt, was shot with a pistol by 31-year-old David Allen Fulkerson, an Alabama fan, during the game.  After spending nearly a week on life support, Merritt died last Friday after the family decided to pull the plug.

They just got into it over the ball game,” Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson said by way of the Baton Rouge Advocate. “They’d been jawing at each other all day. Alcohol played a big part in it.”

A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

An image obtained by The Advocate shows one of the two Alabama students who were arrested after sneaking into Tiger Stadium and damaging the eye of the tiger logo at midfield.
The image, shared by a fellow Alabama student who desired to remain anonymous, was posted to Snapchat. The image shows Timothy Foley on the field, and was posted by Sean McGinty, both 18 and from Maryland.
The pair was arrested early Saturday morning. They were later issued a summons and released by the LSU Police Department.

An Alabama man pleaded guilty to two counts of obscenity on Tuesday, after he was accused of rubbing his genitals on an LSU fan's face after the BCS Championship game on Jan. 9.
Brian Downing, 33, was accused of sexual battery and obscenity in the incident that was caught on video and posted to YouTube.

Not to mention the bomb threat and Updyke.

Okay bro. I see you're delusional. Your fan base is just as bad, if not worse, than anyone else. See the above post.

It painfully obvious you are related to these nutria frickers.......

Classy. It’s painfully obvious you’re committed to the LSU fans murdered Bama fan (Louisiana native) because of a football game.

Here’s the actual facts:

The 2 booked, deservedly, for manslaughter in this case had been at a wedding prior to the bar fight where one man married the other man’s sister. They had been drinking and celebrating the wedding, not watching the game at the bar.

The victim’s daughter, who left the bar before the fight began postulated that the incident was based on the opposing fans and game results despite not being present to witness how the event started.

After investigating, police determined that the victim’s cousin instigated and escalated the argument and was kicked out of the bar before the fight happened.

The 2 dumbass LSU fans approached the victim after the woman was removed then one punched the victim knocking him to the ground unconscious. The other a-hole LSU fan then punched or kicked the victim after he was on the ground.

These 2 men absolutely side serve jail time for their despicable behavior. However, the allegation that this fight was the result of the LSU v Bama game that night was made by one person, the victim’s daughter, who wasn’t even there during the beginning of the argument or when the event occurred. Frankly, it was an irresponsible assumption on her part based on zero evidence or personal knowledge. However, news sites ran with her assertions despite zero evidence or corroboration.

Police investigated and, after interviewing others present who actually witnessed the entire event, determined the fight began if the actions of a female family member of the victim who was kicked out of the bar for her actions. Police statements credit her with the beginning and escalation of the argument that led to the horrible attack.

Bowers was a local, by the way, and this wasn’t the first time he’s worn his Bama gear and cheered on Bama. Considering the long run of losses we had to Bama at that time, it seems he would have been attacked before were that the true motivation. It’s a small town with limited bars to watch and celebrate his team’s win.

But you go ahead and believe blind speculation over actual witness interviews and police reports

sick to the point of taking out billboards...never bought and paid for billboards in another state

Boy, looks like those billboards really got to you.

One thing non-LSU fans still don't seem to understand, Lamar Advertising, Inc., one of the largest billboard companies in the country, is owned by an LSU graduate. He can put whatever the frick he wants on HIS billboards. No one has to "take out", or "pay for" these billboards as they are owned by an LSU fan.

One of life’s great mysteries
But so is why men need to physically attack others when there’s an altercation. One of these idiots sucker punched Bowers knocking him to the floor and other other hit him while he was in the ground. Over a verbal altercation involving a drunk female.
