Vols copied uga and hired Pruitt to make the vols as good as UGA. What an epic fail that was.

You honestly believe it too. Nothing to do with his successful times at Bama, needing a coach on short notice that the fans would accept, wanting a defensive coach as a change of direction…

Your Vol Derangement Syndrome is approaching your Trump derangement level.

Gee, Wally, that's funny! That sounds just like Saban after not winning the title for a couple of years. These spoiled rotten teams can't stand to lose their monopoly on below the table payments. To them, transparency deteriorates the game. What a joke!

Who hired him? Tennessee. He represented your University. Slick.

We did a whole thing and got him a show cause because he was operating on his own… it made the news and everything. Where you not posting here in 2020?

Maybe you should have told the NCAA.
Update: The NCAA punishment handed down to Tennessee included a six-year show cause penalty for Jeremy Pruitt and scholarship reductions for the football team.

There are consequences when your university makes poor decisions. Of course, Tennessee fans were telling us Pruitt was great and was going to win it all and blahvlahblah. Kind of like y'all are doing now.

And like y'all were doing when Dooley was hired. And like Y'all were doing when Butch Jones was hired...and so on and so on and so on...

The reduction was self imposed and de facto due to the majority of the roster leaving over the Pruitt scandal.

The irony of a Dawg fan talking about consequences is absolutely hilarious by the way.

The rest was just the voices in your head with Dooley and Jones. Hell most of us were skeptical about Heupel being able/willing to recruit the lines. Glad to be wrong on that one.

Real surprising. College football coaches have wanted all of the talent and depth to be on their roster and hopefully none left for the other teams for more than a century.

Fulmer saw the year 2 sec title/playoff win, and wanted the same, so he hired the guy who replaced smart at bama.

Pruitts time at UGA was his least successful stint prior to being a head coach but y’all feel his time at UGA got him the Vols gig?

Dude was the best left on short notice that the fans would accept. Zero to do with UGA. Our previous AD had botched 2 hires in a row and Fulmer went with the best defensive guy(based on his time at Bama) he could get.

I’ve seen y’all grasp before but this one is just idiotic. When Pruitt was hired Kirby was just CMR with no morals.
