Pretty much the exact same deal as Kiffin's false accusation of Meyer. Of course, Kiffin and Mike Hamilton didn't bitch about it to Mike Slive like certain other individuals.
Pretty much, no it isn't. Questioning whether someone took a test and emphatically saying someone cheated is not pretty much the same thing.
To be clear as possible for you, this:
“I know when I was hired, after the press conference I took the test to qualify you to be a recruiter. I hadn’t taken it in three or four years. At that time I could start making calls. I don’t know if he was permitted to make that call or not. You’ll have to ask somebody else.”
Does not equal this:
"I'm gonna turn Florida in right here in front of you...I love the fact that Urban had to cheat and still didn't get him."
There is a big difference, so quit whining that Mike Slive didn't reprimand Spurrier. Quit bitching that Urban and Foley got their panties in wad. Sack up and accept the fact that your coach was an idiot who said something that made him look like a complete arse.

Told of Kiffin's comment late Tuesday, Spurrier shook his head and faced Kiffin, who was waiting for an elevator with a couple other coaches. "I didn't accuse you of cheating," Spurrier told Kiffin. "I said, 'Is it permissible to call recruits before he's announced as head coach, before you take the test?"
Spurrier then turned back toward reporters and told them Kiffin took the test online and was unaware that was allowed. Kiffin's face turned red during the 40-second exchange and said something that was inaudible.
Spurrier was still talking as the elevator doors closed, exiting to laughter from media members and probably quite the elevator ride for Kiffin, Auburn's Gene Chizik, Arkansas' Bobby Petrino and Kentucky's Rich Brooks.

You can't be serious? If he did that well he cheated since he is the king of secondary violations. Also, the two aren't even close to the same thing. Special K floundered and Visor called him on it. There was no factual base for Kiffy's accusation.

The real question is:
Who really gives a frick what Kiffin wants?
Kiffin is a big ole pussy.

What I think is the funniest thing about this is all the Dawg, Bama, Auburn, LSU fans etc. happy over something Spurrier did. It's like Kiffin is the new annoying stepchild and Spurriers become the old grandfather of the SEC, keeping the runt in check while everyone else already hates him.

See?? That shite is funny! Spurrier is a smartass who is funny. As much as I hated Spurrier while he was at UF, he's schoolin' the douchebag IN FRONT OF HIM!! CLASSIC!!!

Leave Kiffin alone. This man has kept me entertained throughout the off season. I would be bored as hell if it were not for him. Thanks for the laughter Kiffin. It makes life easier.

No, what's funny is that historical Orange is turning to yella real quick. Right after the first beat-down Spunk meyer is going to give you, then the appologies will start flowing. Frick UT.

Obviously, Lane didn't retain too much of that knowledge.

Kiffin didn't have a lot to say when Spurrier got a hold of that arse..........

Every time I come to this site I see something about Kiffin. You guys always saying what a dick he is. He is a dick, who cares? You guys act like we should be embarrassed he's our coach. Yeah, Florida will crush us, so what they would've crushed us if we had Fulmer too. I mean Urban beat Phil 59-20 unprovoked, it's not like Urban takes it easy on you unless you provoke him. Come on, a loss is a loss. I'd trade a 100-0 loss for a Top 10 recruiting class. Yeah Kiffin has 5 secondary violations. Richt had 17 last year, no one cares about that though. We're on ESPN more than any other school thanks to this. And recruiting is all I have to judge Kiffin on so far. So before anyone brings up his 5-15 record or a 73-yard field goal, I know that happened. If that happens at UT I'll want him fired, but nothing he's done so far has led me to believe he will.

Stand by then. It's coming. Ogeron will have UT facing sanctions by year two. That's if Kiffin doesn't first.

Richt had 17 last year?! stupid arse media. i'm sure it sucks to be the butt of every joke right now volwarrior, and while you're a tennessee fan and probably need to experience the burn a little bit i know how it sucks to have the media harp on your program in any and every negative way they can.
yes, you should be btw. hell, i was embarrassed of Mike Price representing our university, and that was WAY before he went to strip clubs. if you aren't ashamed of your coach by now and his stupid arse, young arse mistakes... you're stronger than i am for blind loyalty. then again, if you turned the situation around and Kiffin were at Alabama, i would have watched over him a lot more and not just paid attention to all of his blunders.
i wonder what Kiffin IS like from an actual fan's perspective. to the outside, he's a f'kin idiot and of course every opposing fan of UT is going to hop on the proverbial bandwagon and circle y'all in major numbers and get their lumps in while they can. but honestly, i can't say i have been too objective myself. i've heard of Kiffin things in the media countless times. and each time it seems like it's over something stupid he's done. so the MEDIA is honestly making it hard to be objective.
