Im surprised no one has pointed this out, but coaches in the NFL make a lot more money than coaches in college. The chargers paid Harbaugh quite a bit more per year than Kirby makes (who is #1 paid)

Top 5 NFL head coach salaries all are more than the highest college coach.

Andy Reid makes 20 million a year.

5 others are making over 15 million per year.

People are clueless when they say the nfl doesn't pay coaches.

Kiffin is in a tougher spot than people realize. He wants the Dolphins job, but it won’t open until January 5.
