So is everyone else.

He jumped ship 1 time early. 1 time. He left a crappy Tennessee team for a better situation in California
He bailed on Bama as OC a week before the national championship just as he’s possibly doing with Ole Miss before the playoffs. He’s in it for himself.

Now he’s spent over half a decade in Mississippi and if all things hold will be leaving for another better gig.
Les Miles and Ed Orgeron both won Natties at LSU and they are both considered clowns by everyone in the college football world.
Winning a Natty at LSU apparently isn't enough to earn respect.

But never think there is anything other than that - what Lane Kiffin believes is what is best for him. If your school's interests align with his - great. If not, he will look around.
This is what every person in life should do, irrespective of level or profession.
For Kiffin, should he take the Florida or LSU job, those are clear steps up from OM, where he’s been for 6 years and brought the program to new heights. For reference, the average tenure of a head coach in college football is around 4 years at each stop.
Why shouldn’t he want a promotion and a new, bigger challenge? Is it your position that successful people should forego professional advancement and stay where they are for life out of some unrealistic expectation of loyalty?

Who is not a mercenary?
Every man has a price.
Every man has a price.

Not gonna lie...I don't care anymore. These players are playing musical chairs with universities and are getting paid lots of money to do it. Why can't coaches be the same way?
