What about the same state flag as Georgia has but with the State seal of Mississippi in the upper left hand corner. There's no way Mr. Sankey and the NCAA could have an issue with that, right???
Blacks wants to participate in the design! I know that is what they have been trying to do ever since all this started!

Every black on the Legislature voted in the current flag in 1894...

I just don't understand how changing a flag will actually help black Mississippians. Legalize weed, reduce traffic stops, demilitarize the police, offer finiacial literacy classes, there are so many way you could actually help people that will actually improve their lives. The flag just seems dumb, it feels better without actually improving any one persons life.

Obviously, college football is being blackmailed exactly like virtually all institutions in America to support the radical leftwing terror group Black Lives Matter to thwart the federal government from placing them on the terror watch list.

This is virtue signaling.
It makes the signaler feel better and like they've actually done something without actually changing anything.

How does keeping a flag that stood for slavery help at all?

It won’t. But it’s easier than looking in the mirror.

Gotta be a little strange for 2 guys with zero ties to Mississippi who have coached a combined 0 games in the state to be sent to the capitol to lobby folks who have been in Mississippi their entire lives to change their flag.
It's two guys who will go to Jackson and tell them how much of an impact they think not changing the flag could have on future recruiting and thereby, success in all sports for both schools.

If we can't change a dumb arse flag how can we possibly expect change for the other issues?

And Mississippi politicians won’t do any of these.
The flag is the first step in the process of addressing the racial inequality that plagues the state.
Removing the flag sends a message that racism is no longer tolerated in MS society, and it helps remove it from the conversation.
You can’t even begin the conversation of policing issues and mass incarceration if you don’t cut the racism bullshite that the flag symbolizes.
I lived in MS for over 20 years. There are people that aren’t racist. There are people that let their ignorance cause them to express and support racist viewpoints.
And then there are racists that hide behind the flag and “heritage” to fight against real policy and change that would help not only the state’s large black population, but also poor whites.
The flag has to come down. We have to remove the cover that the racists hide behind.

Some are racist, I'd say the vast majority just like keeping a flag that we've had for 126 years.
This was Mississippi's flag before the Klan was waving it at rallies and marches.

You stated that black people are focusing on changing the flag, even though it "won't help them" because "it's easier than looking in the mirror."......I mean I could actually break it down but you'd just argue like an idiot. I suggest you listen to "I'm Not Racist" by Joyner Lucas and you will understand exactly how fricked up what you're saying is, if you have an even slightly open mind. They literally take what you said as an example of racist shite "not racist" people say.

Mississippi was not a good place 126 years ago. That’s the problem.
There’s a reason why racists cling to “history.” They are really just clinging to a lost society where racism was acceptable.

If you are suggesting that the North was not 100% on board the abolition train, then yes, I would agree.
However, at the end of the day, history recognizes the north as the side against slavery because that’s what they ultimately stood and fought for.
Had the south abolished slavery prior to secession, we would likely be having a completely different conversation.
If the south’s motivations behind secession and starting the war were not to preserve slavery, then they would have abolished it with haste as it was a massive strategic disadvantage for a few reasons - one being it gave the union the moral high ground and with it the morale to keep fighting.
