The only good team you played all season was Clemson. And almost got shutout.

Congrats I guess.

True. Our schedule has been watered down by SEC East teams this year.

I hope the UK turnout is good for the bowl game. It will help the city because GT won't bring as many as another team.

If anyone needs food, lodging or entertainment info let us know.

Sagarin rankings have Tech at 40 and Kentucky at 61. Neither are world beaters.

The Sagarin strength of schedule ratings are Tech at 45 and Kentucky at 61. Again, neither played a terribly grueling schedule.

Tech and Kentucky were both 0-1 vs Sagarin Top 10. Tech was 1-3 against the Sagarin Top 30 while Kentucky was 1-2.

Seems like a fairly even matchup to me.

Their offense doesn't worry me. We have 4 weeks to prepare. There's a reason that Paul Johnson has a shitty bowl record.

What worries me is our shitty gap discipline. You can't be a hero against this type of offense.

We'll have to see.

Not worried abou Kentucky's defense. With 4 weeks to prepare Johnson should have some wrinkles against a bad defense.

There's a reason Kentucky doesn't usually make a bowl game.

Joker Phillips was the reason why. We were on a bowl run with Grandpa Brooks till Joker came in and blew it up. Should be a good game.

Not looking forward to endless cut blocks and injuries to an already thin defensive line.
Cut blocks should be Targeting Penalties.

Its sad. Brooks had more bowl wins than Paul Johnson in his 7 years at Kentucky than Paul Johnson has in 8 at Georgia Tech.

Its staggering how much Joker "killed it"

GT does not pass alot but when we do its for 30+ yards. Ask UGA fans about our passing game. Burned them 3 times for well over 150 yards and their defense is 16th nationally.

UK fans sound about like every teams fans that have not really seen GT play. The regurgitating of misnomers like cut blocking, not passing and others.

First GT doesnt cut block any more than any other team. Early on when PJ cane to GT he did because our average OL was around 275 pounds and drive blocking wasnt going to improve efficiency. Also PJ had to rely on heavier cut blocking in service academies for the same reason regarding undersized linemen. Our OL is now 305 average weight and we man up and drive a lot more. Our cut blocking is no worse than any other team that uses it on run plays. Watch most teams on run plays. They cut. Your team does it too. We just run more. Quit being pussys. 12 defenses this year resulting in zero knee injuries. Just because your team has to learn a new technique isnt out fault.

Also, GT has a top 15 win on the road at VT (you may gave just seem them hang with Clemson in the ACCCG) and it was a beat down with our back up QB. Did you conveniently leave that out to focus on Clemson?

UK lost to Southern Miss so stop there. GT lost to Clemson (ranked), UNC (Ranked), Pitt (ranked) and Miami.

UK had a nice season taking advantage of very weak teams in their division and losing to every team they were supposed to except UL. Your defense is mediocre allowing 44 points to SM, 45 to the offensively challenged Gators (I dont think a team allowed as many points to the Gators this year), 42 points to New Mexico. In fact, UK has given up 30+ points in 7 games.

Stoops had FSU players when he faced GT last and GT liked to have won that game. UK does not have FSU talent and its not close.

Oh and Marshall leaving doesnt hurt. He was beat out by a true feeshmen in Dedrick Mills who is more powerful and a better blocker. Only reason he was leading rusher is a testament to our Oline and Mills being suspended 3 games.

2009. If I were you I would focus on the game coming up, not trying to live in the past. But that's just me. Carry on. We don't care about your past.

I was looking at that as well, plus Stoops has seen the TO before so he'll know the best way to practice for it.
