Nah, we only have the football stadium with a shitty name. They have baseball, football and basketball.

Lulz, y'all have a fricking farm animal petting zoo at your tailgating spot before football games.

And what does a state being poor do with profitability? If that is the case, the whole SEC would be broke considering the whole south is poor. Dipshit.

Well ... it is, unfortunately, the way of the future.

We did it with our baseball stadium. I'm pretty sure only Texas and we have sponsored baseball stadiums and it's worked out okay. Thankfully it's a fairly catchy name ... Founder's Park.

Our basketball arena is Colonial Life Arena ... again, fairly catchy especially given that we're one of the original colonies when it comes to Colonial Life and Founder's.

The name is the tricky part.

Sponsorships are inevitable for everyone.

Football stadiums ... I mean corporate sponsorships for them are really really tricky. They rarely work out long term.

I don't see it much different than taking money from an individual/family booster/ and naming a stadium, or a field, a training facility, or whatever after them.

If it pays for improvements that allow for a better fan/athlete experience, then who cares?

Blue Bell ... I incorrectly assumed, or was told, Blue Bell Stadium was named Blue Bell Stadium because Blue Bell Ice cream was developed or scienced or owned by A&M, or something like that?

I don't think it's a big deal. I wish LSU would sell off the PMAC's name if a corporate partner wanted to give the school a new arena. It'd take multiple years for LSU to raise the money for a new arena, and we're falling behind quickly

I really don't like the name Kroger Field, but it is what it is.

Everyone will be doing this over time.
