What will the frustration level be? It will have been 5 years since the last Final Four trip.

The last 4 years will have been
2016 - Round of 32
2017 - Elite Eight
2018 - Sweet 16
2019 - ? (non FF)

Obviously Cal is great and UK consistently has NBA guys all over the roster and wins a bunch of games. Do the more inpatient corners of BBN start clamoring about how the Cal thing has run it's course and he needs to start getting back to FFs/win another title?

Are people generally happy with being a Top 10 team every year? What is the overall general feeling with things?

He is the highest paid coach in basketball by over 2 million dollars. He has underachieved since winning it all way back when at UK.

1 Natty in twenty years isn't anything special. It's nothing more than a flash in the pan.

We would feel like the 13 other SEC teams.

But you are Kentucky, not 13 other SEC teams. Pretty sure your standards in basketball aren't exactly the same as Auburn or Ole Miss.

Yea? So assuming the job was open - who would you want Kentucky to go after?

They could follow the last hire of Calipari post-cheating scandals and go after Wade.

Yea - we have the same post-Saban discussions. There just aren't home run automatic guys out there for giant, bigger than life, high expectation programs.

I could still be convinced to take Wade. How does he handle the media? That’s honestly the hardest part of the UK job. Confession time: I’ve never seen or heard a single thing he’s said other than his wiretap tapes.

Obviously predicated on the unlikely occurrence that Wade skates.

1 NC is barely more than we have...hmm...we are pretty close to being as good as Kentucky at basketball.

Eh, they lost to the eventual champs on a buzzer beater.
